A skewer of Persian marinated chicken with a skewer of charbroiled ground sirloin. Served with basmati rice, grilled tomato, and roasted pepper.
Joojeh Kabob
A skewer of Persian spiced marinated chicken kabob grilled over an open flame. Served with basmati rice, grilled tomato, and roasted pepper.

Recent Reviews

Met a friend to catch up after a long time. Not only did we stay longer than we meant, the server and restaurant were so nice and so helpful. They were happy to let us stay and sorry when they needed the table - and high we told them to let us know. The food was wonderful and the service was great!

We had a party of 6 and were treated exceptionally well. The cocktails were strong, delicious and priced well. The portions of food were humungous, most everyone took home leftovers, but the prices were extremely reasonable. Every dish was moist, flavorful, and the rice was some of the best I've ever had. My only so-so moment was the falafel bites. They were only ok, I've had better falafel elsewhere, but that is minor and would not keep me from revisiting Maydoon many...

I like this restaurant, but I requested a good seating for my date in my reservation, and we got seated in a tight spot by the closed window (couldn't see out) and I had to sit in the sun when it was over 100 degrees out. The metal wall and window burned and hurt to the touch— no one should have to sit there. Both me and my date were sweating and hot the entire time and had to leave quicker than we wanted to because of that. I left sweaty and not enjoying the atmosphere...
