Waited such a long time for us to get our food because they were all busy doing the to go orders.
We came at 4 to beat the crowd but there were only probably six people here.
So disappointed
Gift card scam.
Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out.
Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. The restaurant has a beautiful setup with two bars, one regular and one sushi, and plenty of seating options. The fish served is fresh, and the plates are visually appealing. The menu offers a wide variety of items, making it easy to choose from, especially with staff help. The food, including dishes like tempura green beans and rolls, is consistently praised as delicious. The staff is attentive and accommodating, even allowing orders for starters just before happy hour ends. The service was cool and amazing, with a very attentive waitress who helped understand their extensive menu, sauces, different rolls, and appetizers. Drinks were constantly topped off. Everything tasted amazing, and the place was clean with options for everyone in the family. The spicy edamame and puffs were great to start, and the 49er Jack roll and Jerry roll were really good. Mikuni at Pavilions is a great choice for those nearby, especially for lunch, with quick service and a nice ambience.
