Modurang Family Korean Restaurant

My go to korean joint. Love love love their banchan. Ordered the cold noodle and tonkatsu rice bowl. Gave me a complimentary plum drink. I ended up buying a bottle for myself. Everytime i'm in town, I try to stop by and have lunch here.

Wow!!! I love this place!! My husband and I we ate here multiple times. It is pricey but it is well worth it. Service wise they are not consistent. The first day they were very attentive but the rest they were not very attentive. The place is nice clean and cute. It is not a huge restaurant but it is spacious. The food?? What can I say?? It is delicious. I took pictures what we order and we did not disappoint.

Do I recommend this place!??

I work long hours, but this place brings me peace , I started coming after classes by my self a few years ago. The service was always so nice and the food was so comfy they kept me coming back ☺️, I love modurang Family restaurant

In the previous reviews, I saw some negative comments saying the food was pricey or not very authentic, so I was a bit worried.
But honestly, the service was great and the food tasted just like homemade Korean dishes — I loved it!

We went there during lunchtime, and there were about 4–5 other customers in the restaurant.
We ordered bulgogi and tofu soup. (Lunch menu between 11 am-2pm )

The staff were very warm and checked on us a few times to make sure everything was okay.
I really appreciated that kind of warm, welcoming feeling — it reminded me of my trips to Korea.

Also, the restaurant played Korean music and had decorations that made it feel like a local spot in Korea. It really gave off that authentic, cozy Korean vibe, which I absolutely loved.

One thing to note is that they don’t have a barbecue grill, so the bulgogi is served on a hot plate instead.

Overall, the service, the food, and the atmosphere all gave me such a cozy, home-like feeling.
I’d definitely come back again! 💕

I’m Korean myself visiting from NYC. I ordered 알탕 & 게장. Only 3 pieces of crab and 3 pieces of roe for $54. 100% scammers. DO NOT GO HERE.

The BEST chicken Bulgogi I’ve ever had. The pear iced sweet tea is always the best drink and the bonchon is generous. 10/10 every week I have to come at least once

This place reminds me of Korea SO MUCH! The cold noodles were absolutely divine and the kimchi pancake was amazing and made fresh. Service was fast and they were all very polite. I will be coming back! 감사합니다 ☺️

Food was quite mid. Ordered japchae & naengmyeon. Japchae lack of flavor. Very small portion.
Naengmyeon broth wasn’t flavorful either, missing a slice of beef. Have tried a lot of naengmyeon in socal, so guess it didn’t quite match up to that flavor standard.
Service was great.
