GK Mongolian BBQ Reviews
Sonora location. Tried when first opened and few weeks ago. It was clean (new) and great service. Re-visited yesterday and totally the opposite! Counter was dirty, all food was low. It was 4 o’clock and not busy. The cook, other gentleman and waitress was very unprofessional and unsanitary! The cook, yes while wearing gloves, continued to touch dirty services and our food. The restaurant was very messy, I almost slipped on the grease/food on the floor more than once. They required gloves but the trash to put them in when you’re done was over flowing so they were all over the floor.

GK Mongolian BBQ provides a great dining experience with top-notch service and food. Guests are greeted and presented with rice, water, and snacks while their meal is prepared. The restaurant allows customers to customize their bowls, making each visit unique. The food is praised for its quality, and the staff is known for being friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is described as welcoming, with a solid playlist. The food line and dining area were kept pretty clean. There are good meat choices, veggies, and sauces to choose from. It's a fair price point, especially if you get in at lunch price or go for a second bowl. The staff was super welcoming. It also comes with a side of rice, soup, wontons and sweet and sour sauce and a chicken potsticker thing. The sides were okay but the main dish was really good. GK Mongolian BBQ is recommended for its unique cooking experience and many options, making it a spot for both good food and conversation.
