Easily one of the top bakeries in sacramento. The savory items are just as good as the sweet options. Come early if you want the almond chocolate croissant. Its worth it. Beautiful hand crafted baked goods. Wonderful service and wonderful bakers.

I thought it was okay, the dough wasn’t fluffy enough for my personal taste

The brown butter almond cake was warm, moist on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. The cardamom bun was baked to perfection, flakey, soft, crunchy top, pulls apart beautifully. The ham and cheese croissant was salty, savory, and buttery. I've been trying out a lot of bakeries in the area, from Stockton, Modesto, Livermore, etc. and so far this has been the absolute best. The prices are very fair as well, definitely been to bakeries that charged twice as much for a quarter of the quality. Definitely recommend going early and getting everything fresh. Another review stated this place was not worth the drive and everything was stale, which makes me think they went to the wrong bakery. I'm an hour away - worth the drive and everything item was freshly made and delicious.

This bakery offers tasty baked goods and charming gift items. There’s no indoor seating, but a few outdoor chairs are available. I tried the apple galette, which was very delicious, although a bit pricey. The hours may be inaccurate; it was supposed to close at 1:30 pm, but I found it still open at 1:45 pm.
The bread is amazing. The bluegrass loaf is one of my faves!! My family hasn’t been disappointed with anything we’ve tried thus far. The line is always worth the wait (moves fast) and the prices are super reasonable compared to other artisan bakeries around. The pastries aren’t huge and we love that!!! We are able to get a nice variety to share without having to waste a delicious morsel or make the hard choice between sweet or savory! Seating outside is very limited so it’s definitely more of a grab and go type of place but that hasn’t stopped us from making the drive over.

I've only been to Moonbelly Bakery a few times since I discovered it, but I wish I could go everyday! Their pastries and food are super fresh and high quality, staff is friendly, and everything is delicious.
They have fun with their baked good with fun and unique flavor combinations along with staples you'd expect to see at a bakery.
The offerings change throughout the day. They serve pastries/breakfast focused breads in the morning, then I think they bring in quiches/brunch items, then some sandwiches, etc. in the later hours.
No indoor seating and limited outdoor seating with a small parking lot.

Unfortunately, I have to give this rating because I felt that getting a dense crumb with large hole’s baguette was really disappointing. I was planning to make bruschetta appetizers for dinner and had to buy a baguette last minute as the one I purchased was not salvageable. I highly recommend looking into where in the process things went wrong. Best of luck!
