Absolute perfection. Croissants with lamination, buttery and light. Close your eyes, and you're in France via the taste and aromas. Wow.

There are many things that make Moonbelly special, but here are 2 that stand out the most to me.First, every pastry that isn't a cookie or a loaf is made with a beautifully laminated croissant dough. This is not necessary and could totally be done with cheaper pastry for everything other than the croissants, but it is incredibly delicious and luxurious.Second, nearly every day they have a pastry that is savory but does not have meat or eggs. To have a consistent pastry option with veggies in it is genuinely what gets me out of the house to go to Moonbelly.Vegetarian options: They have savory pastries that are vegetarian (not vegan) on the daily, and it is awesome. Veggies and cheese nestled into flaky croissant dough is my favorite way to start the day.

Staff are friendly. The place is small but has a lot of choices on bakery. Not a big fan if their sweet bakeries but I like their melts .Parking: They have parking space. ?

Don't go here - you might end up dreaming about their croissants for the rest of your days. Most adorable bakery store ever.

The breads and bakery goods are wonderful but you need to go early. They run out of the pastry quickly. They do sell some lunch items but again they run out quickly so maybe get coffee a goodie and buy you lunch for later. Seating is outside.

Right when you walk in you can see the bakers hard at work and girl does it show! The place is very small quick in n out.I got an assortment or pastries I don't remember them all but my favorite was the cinnamon roll! Very flaky and delicious right amount of sweetness. Egg and ham was great savory with great buttery crust.100 percent recommend!

Where do I start… the chocolate croissant, the veggie melt, the chocolate chip shortbread cookie… there’s no place I’d rather go on a weekend morning. ♡

With Faria and Ginger Elizabeth in full swing, it would take an extremely great product to be competitive in the current market. Fortunately for Moonbelly, they have some of the best patisserie I've ever had anywhere.Seriously. Now, I don't love the long lines or that this place is only open 3 days a week, but it seems that if you are making something this good, you get to dictate the rules. Their basic croissant is truly the litmus test for this place. You can taste the quality in ingredient and in preparation. Just as solid are the almond croissant and the cardamom bun. This place is certainly top tier and not just for Sacramento.

Very good. Very tiny. Keep the door closed or flies get in. They had a very cute story time for littles when I went, which I think was a Saturday. I liked everything I got. One was a mushroom one, another was a ham and egg, and a fruit one that was like a cross between an apple, pear, and apricot? I can't remember now. The egg truly was perfectly cooked, though I wished it was warmed. I wish all were warmed actually. Service was fine, very quick and streamlined to take care of their long line.
