From the roasted duck to dumplings and noodle soup, some of the most unflavorful Chinese I've ever had.

The food wasn't that good at all.

My family usually has dinners at New Hong Kong Wok all the time, but we stopped coming here after their food and service went downhill a few years ago. This is my first time returning to New Hong Kong Wok after many years. I found out that both their food quality and customer service have improved. I enjoyed my dinner here once again! I know I'll come back more often now.
Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetable dishes are available on the menu
Parking: Both street parking and a parking lot are available, but the shopping is super busy, and parking is harder to find.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible

This old store for many years has disappointed me very much. It’s so salty that I can’t swallow it.
Ordered 15$ wonton duck noodle soup to go, when I got home I was not satisfied with what I received. I barely received any toppings for my soup. Barley any Duck meat, it was stone cold & mainly bones (felt like I was eating scraps/left over), about 4 pork wontons, & 2 pieces of bok choy. The soup broth also wasn't the best either, very bland. 3 hrs later I was still hungry & ordered a small appetizer from another restaurant. Do yourself a favor… walk a couple stores down, you run into a restaurant called Tealicious, the duck noodle soup was tastier & more filling, it lasted me 2 days.

Reccomended to me by my best friend and was told it had aunthentic Cantonese food. The food was good for the most part but I did feel like service could definitely improve. It wasn't bad overall and I did go at a time where it wasn't busy either so it was nice and quiet.

We ordered the egg gravy shrimp horfun noodle. They gave generous shrimp but we like the next door Jade version better. The empress chicken with the green sauce was good but the yellow rice was bland and no ginger tasted like the Singaporean that I was looking for. Their HK milk tea is one of the best in the world. The HK lemon tea was just ok but it helps to heal my throat.
I would love to try their salted egg yolk mushrooms next time!

This place has some nice traditional Cantonese food. You do get 100% of your daily intake sodium, but it feels totally normal. It also gives you a reason to stay hydrated when you eat here.

Ordered take out #173 which consisted of beef and mushroom clay pot. Brought it home and it's squid and tofu. Not sure if this was given to me on purpose or in error. Make sure you always check the food before you leave the restaurant to make sure you are given the right dish.

A standout among the many great Chinese restaurants along Freeport Boulevard. Try the shrimp and egg chow fun or the Fukien fried rice; the tomato fried rice is a homey comfort food, satisfying and savory sweet. Parking can be a bear on the weekends, especially since the other restaurants and shops in the shopping strip mark their territory by reserving spaces for their customers only. We easily found parking on a side street in a residential area, and happily the weather was good for walking. Food is worth the stroll!

I don't know what the server has been experiencing with, I could say all the services he provided were so horrible. The food was horrible, too. Never recommended

Cantonese style food, great for family banquets. Excellent selection of seafood or other Chinese Delicacies. Only problem is parking!

Our group of five people ate here last week. The food was the best Cantonese food I’ve had in many, many years,. One of our party traveled often to China for business, and was impressed by the “genuine” tastes here. This is one of the few restaurants I’ve been to where every one in the group agreed 100% on the quality.A polite helpful young man took our order served, checking several times to make sure all was satisfactoryWe had hot and sour soup, egg flower soup, sautéed beef with mushrooms and vegetables, prawns with lobster sauce, scallops with vegetables, bok choy in garlic sauce.Everything was delicious, with perfect flavorsAtmosphere and decor are basic, but bright and clean.Plenty of parking is available.Definitely, we’ll be back!!!
