Finally a sushi spot that keeps it moist and juicy. I’m tired of super dry rice being the norm.
Waitress was kind and helpful.
The chef was amazing and created a welcoming atmosphere. When I walked in, I immediately could tell he would care about our experience. He created delicious works of art.
Try the Five Star roll or the Kamikaze roll if you want a kick of spice.
So I'm not much of a sushi fan but my boyfriend is and he loves this place and since kikis chicken is connected to it there's something for me to enjoy so I do recommend I personally never eat the sushi 🍣
It was a cool lunch experience
Sadly, after some years of coming here we are done. We spent $60 on 4 very mediocre rolls tonight. They had no flavor, very bland - and we found two fish bones in the sushi!
Great place for fresh sushi
Grateful to have this place so close by! We come regularly to pick up takeout and it’s always soooo good!!

It's good sushi, but no in house deals, just to go orders. The roll fell apart when using chopsticks. Made it a project to eat. Not conventional to spend 80 for 2 rolls, spicy edimame, and 3 drinks during the week.
Should have done the buy one get one roll for free and chosen not to eat there. Because that's a to-go deal only.

This place is a "If you know, you know" spot in Sacramento. Kind of out of the way, never super crowded but absolutely incredible food and great service. They have the best sashimi in town! The fish is so fresh and delicious. The owner is friendly and fun and always takes care of us when we go. The restaurant is understated, nothing gimmicky or kitschy, just simple great food and service.

We have been to Ninja Sushi many times before the change in ownershp with no complaints.
HOWEVER while the food was good, prior to ordering I asked what was included in my order of tempura and sesame chicken, the waitress s said 3 shrimp, 3 carrots, and an asparagus. my grandson also ordered an appetizer (Edamame) in addition to the Red Dragon.
When the entrees arrived I had 2 shrimp 1 carrot and a broccoli. My grandson was missing the Red as in Red Dragon. When I asked where the other shrimp and carrots were the waitress said because we ordered an appetizer they cut the meal back. (with no reduction in price). I couldn't believe my ears. I later spoke to the owner or I think he was the owner and he said that is what it is. He actually yelled at us. (Which was not embarrassing as the place was completely empty at 6;30 PM that Saturday night. )
The service, by the one waitress, was marginal. Empty dishes were left in front of us until I requested they be removed.
The music was blasting either hard rock or extremely loud yelling to "music". It took three requests to lower the music and then we still had to cup our ears to have a conversation.
Until they get their act together, I would not recommend Ninja Sushi at this time.

Currently on day 5 of food poisoning from eating raw albacore from this place. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Please think twice before you order take out from this place. They said 30mins, my colleague who picked up the food waited an hour, I’m sure they finished the albacore first and let it sit at room temp that whole time. Please be cautious of this place.

We ordered their sushi platter and got food poisoning. It was so bad I had to call the paramedics. I thought my wife was going to die. The food was bland and had no flavor whatsoever. What a waste of 78.00. I will never order from this place ever again.

Incredibly disappointing sushi. The variety of rolls we ordered all tasted basically the same. Huge chunks of cucumber dominated the rolls, the fish was watery and each roll was just bland with little flavor. At approx $20 a roll (including tax and tip) I expected way better. Worst sushi experience in Sacramento so far, would not recommend.

Placed an order for 2 deep fried rolls ( online they offer 2 rolls get 1 free on to go orders) called to advised they didn't give me my 3rd for free that offered online. Spoke with the owner to my surprise he said I was supposed to ask for that deal and would not compensate the 3rd roll. The level of customer service these days to retain customers is wild. Management doesn't care, over talked me when I was letting him know I have the card that was used to confirm the transaction. Nothing but No, No,No!! SMH too bad I will have to look to other Sushi options even though this one is in walking distance from my house.
