Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and top-notch coffee. Real coffee drinks with high quality beans, not the oversweetened junk to hide the flavor you get at the chain places. Tried the Island Gold Latte, with turmeric... the flavors went together so well, it was amazing.

Nomlas Cafe is an amazing gem, and the only non-chain coffee place in the area. The beans are from Jamaica, and the coffee is truly excellent. The dark chocolate mocha was rich and smooth. The lattes were great. But Nomlas Cafe is more than just a coffee shop. There is a community room set up for music, games and activities. Nomlas hosts weekly book clubs, poetry readings, karaoke and craft activities in an inviting and comfortable space. This place is special. Go.
