I had the pleasure of attending Cena de las Ánimas, a Día de los Muertos–themed dinner that was nothing short of spectacular. The food was absolutely delicious — authentic Mexican dishes full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Still the same great food and service even after the handover to the new owner. Plus, they take credit/debit now...so awesome. Cornmeal with pork chili verde and fried eggs is my go to but everything I've had is just great.

Drinks were delicious! I had the blackberry margarita and it was amazing as usual. Happy hour tacos and guacamole were yummy and for a reasonable price. Only issue is it is so loud inside that you have to yell to hear your friends speak. Not good for conversation. Recommend sitting outside if you want to talk.

Service was excellent! I brought a cake for one of our guests and they offered to put in their cooler. The top of the cake had strawberries and they slid off in transport..they were kind enough to add fresh strawberries and bring out with a sparkler, then sliced and added more strawberries. They are very accommodating and sweet! THANK YOU ZOCALOS, be back soon!

Best breakfast burrito in Sacramento area! Finally found the go to spot for a delicious breakfast burrito. You have to get the chorizo burrito and snag some verde salsa to go with it! The best!!!
Best staff and service and good food and ambiance. Please keep up the consistency and great job. Sacramento really need good restaurants with consistent food service, and atmosphere and you delivered.

Way too loud!!! The music is so loud you have to shout at others at your table to be heard. The music could be at half the level and still be a festive. TURN THE MUSIC DOWN A BIT!!! It's overwhelming.

The ambient was nice and inviting, the service was excellent and place was clean. I had the beef fajitas, it came with a lot of bell peppers and onions, in my opinion, it was not enough beef for the price, it was way too much garnish. I'll come back and try something else, I'll report back.

We made a reservation here and got right in no problem. We were there for dinner and received very good service! We sat outside and enjoyed the location. The food and drinks were so yummy. We had an enjoyable experience and I recommend this restaurant for an evening out with friends or family. You will leave FULL and with good memories.
