Always great shopping at Nordy, except this time In Sacramento. Asked some one in BP about a specific sale items and she actually waved me away and said look for the yellow tags! In the 40 years I have been shopping there that was absolutely the rudest encounter I've I ever had. I told the ladies up in lingerie they were appalled. I will say as a follow up when we came back our sales girl was awesome. Maybe some customer service reminders are needed. I purposely did not go back to that desk.

I have shopped at many Nordstrom and Nordstrom Arden Fair is hands down at the top of the list. The cafe is truly a Sacramento restaurant gem, specializing in truly farm to fork. The chefs and staff are amazing. The quality of the food is remarkably the finest. The efforts of the chefs, manager, Nick and servers are superior to any Nordstrom. I, truly, believe the cafe's management and staff at the other Nordstrom cafes could really learn a lot from Arden's management and staff. Our favorite restaurant meals have been at this cafe! The shoe department, jewelry and clothing departments are great. I wish the make-up department was updated. It all begins with great store management teams, also! Had a lovely lunch at the cafe. Nice wait staff and friendly cashiers. Once I got to the second floor, the vibe changed. I must have triggered store security for whatever reason because every single sales person approached me and asked “May I help you find something?†The first 2-3 times didn't bother me, but it was a succession of them. One of them even told me she noticed me walking around. Was I being watched? Every place I moved, a helpful salesperson would appear. All that welcoming attention given to little old me made me feel unwelcome.

Always out of Almond croissants. The only reason i come to the cafe is because of my favorite pastry. For the last couple of months they've been always out of it. Hope the management can get the ordering under line and have their "most popular pastry" available.

I was disappointed in my service yesterday. I called to see if I needed an appointment for a bra fitting, they said no, just come on in. The girl that greeted me said she was leaving for lunch and the other girl would help me when she was done with another guest. No big deal, but the poor girl helping me was rushed, I almost felt like a burden, and at one point kind of disappeared because she had other customers to help. I didn't have time to leave and shop else where so I bought what fit for now, but for the $$$ spent and being a loyal Nordstrom shopper I expected better.
