Nice spot in Sac, was driving through and my client recommended it. Had the carbonara, focaccia bread, meatballs and a drink- they had a Monday special, so that was cool! Very cute spot and the service was really great, friendly and patient ( takes me forever to decide on the menu)

OBO' Italian Table & Bar is such a lovely place to go to for lunch or dinner. If you are wanting to taste the flavors of Italy this is the place to go.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place (with one critique). The sausage and butternut squash gnocci was delicious. Gnocci was perfectly cooked and I usually don’t like white sauce. The sausage on top flavorful and crispy sage on top added the perfect touch. The beet and pistachio salad was fresh, perfectly balanced and almost had a floral flavor (probably the best beet salad I’ve ever had). The chili and orange glazed chicken was to die for. So savory and just the right sweetness. The skin could have used a light broil to crisp it up before serving but the flavors overall were spot on and the chicken was JUICY. The chocolate peanut butter parfait was so perfect. Not too sweet and the right balance of chocolate and pb. This is probably the highest quality Italian I’ve had for the price point probably ever.

Obo was good pre-pandemic. Their mac'n'cheese only comes in the smaller size now but with the price of the bigger one, and they don't even fill the tiny container. And they just brought out the fresh foccacia but gave me the lonely cold one left in the bowl. The foccacia also used to taste way better. Wow, rude.

Pizza was so salty it felt like it was burning my tongue. Checked the reviews and other people have mentioned the same thing…..I’m gonna start searching reviews for “salty” before I visit a restaurant from now on, because too much salt absolutely destroys a dish. Espresso martini was good. Kale and farro salad ok nothing special. About $60…disappointing.

Stopped here while in town, informed serval staff that I'd never been here and was not familiar with ordering or their options. I admit, I was very flustered and confused. But I wish I remembered the name of the first gentleman that greeted me, as he explained the menu and was extremely welcoming and helpful (the 1 reason for some stars) Vs the blue eyed cashier who didn't care that I'd never been here after I told him serveral times, seemed extremely annoyed for having to explain the options to me, and then forgot one of my desserts and he asked "anything else" with extreme rudeness when I had previously requested boxes for my food when I first ordered the desserts. I just now realized at my hotel that I'm missing the dessert and will not be going back for it now.

It's unfortunate that 1 staff member can completely turn off the whole vibe of the place, and of the visit. I now wish I'd skipped this place instead of ruining my welcome into Sacramento 🙄 all of the staff seemed welcoming except for the annoyed cashier that didn't care to be helpful.
The food was fine, but the stress and uneasiness was not worth it

Love this place, very good pasta and a good beer selection. I also love the fast casual environment, and you can order drinks and desserts from your table so you don't have to go back into line.
