The good: FOOD - most sushi rolls were very good. The bad: DRINKS - it's not a full bar, don't expect to get a martini. SERVICE - it was meh. After we ordered a round of sake bombs the staff member was gone for 45 minutes, when they finally can bank we asked where are drinks were and said that we needed more water too. They got mad at us for not "pressing our call button" earlier, and then we told them we did, and their response was that they were "in the back" and must not have gotten the alerts. When you sing for 3 hours you need drinks; a karaoke business should understand this. We were also told that we were over time by 20 minutes, but then the server realized that they were wrong and we still had 45 minutes left, they did apologize... barely. KARAOKE INTERFACE - crummy interface, no way to type in a space when searching for songs/artists (the told us to skip the space) and we noticed the the song results world disappear if you typed in too many characters. KARAOKE VIDEOS DISPLAYED - some songs were GREAT, and included the actual music video (turn down for what), but then others would have random backgrounds (a Dutch farm for Regulators) and that ruined the vibe. The ugly: ECHO - While most of us sound better with alcohol, the karaoke microphones had a digital echo stuck on. We were able to get the server to fix this, but they started by brushing it off saying "it's probably just loud", to which we said "echo" once in the microphone and then heard it echo 5 more times. MICROPHONE - one microphone kept adding a clicking sound. It was intermittent enough at first to ignore it, but got progressively worse throughout the night.

We came here to do karaoke, not eat. The check-in process seemed unnecessar and then we waited for 45 minutes to get into a room, where the equipment didn't even work. The main staff member made us feel unsafe. Also said he wouldn't charge us until our time started, and he did before it began. After we waited an hour, we left no karaoke.

It was very nice for the room, enough room for my whole party. The service was pretty cool they helped us when we needed it. I did not try the food here. I just didn't like the karaoke system they had it was hard for me to use, and finding the place was hard for my guest so explain your not going into the restaurant but into the elevator.

The food is great, fresh, clean, great and friendly. I've been there many times, and I think they are the best restaurant ever.

I enjoyed the concept of individualized, karaoke rooms. The rooms come in 3 sizes (small, medium, and VIP). It was my daughter's birthday so I reserved the VIP room. It supposedly holds up to 40 people but we had about 20 people in our party and I couldn't imagine 20 more people comfortably being in that space. They charged $115 plus 18% gratuity for the room. Nonetheless, the karaoke station and monitors worked well. The karaoke stations were simple to use, for the most part. The food was decent. We ordered wings, fries, onion rings, pot stickers and 4 soda pitchers. Everyone loved the pot stickers. The service was meh. Although we rarely needed our server after our first order, it would've been nice if he'd checked on us, once or twice, during our 3 hours there. (Especially since they automatically charge an 18% "service fee".) I typically had to find my server to ask for a knife to cut our cake. Plus, after singing karaoke, it would've been nice to get water/soda refills. The bartender helped deliver food but he had a very condescending attitude, unsure why. Luckily, Sean and George (staff I encountered) seemed to have more pleasant dispositions. Moving forward, I would research other karaoke bars before returning to this one. I believe that there may be other options with better price points and service.

Enjoyed karaoke with family celebrating a birthday. The staff was good, service was good. Food was not good. Tempura veggies were flavorless and greasy. Mixed tempura w/shrimp and vegetables the same, not good. The shrimp had no taste. The private rooms were good for our group and there were lots of screens to accommodate from every angle in the room. Karaoke system needs upgrading, the sound was bad at times, volume low, songs skipped, etc. If they make a few changes, this can be the "place to be" for karaoke gatherings.

This place is okay for group activity karaoke, need better equipment though. Service is helpful and friendly. The food is subpar and very oily/greasey, we had shrimp tempura and mixed vegetables tempura, vegetable tempura, and fried chicken. I may return, but I will not order any food. Interesting place the bar and private rooms have adequate spaciousness. This place is above the dive bar vibe but just above. Sometimes, a dive bar is the right place for a good low-key time. I hope this was a one-off night.

Went there for our daughters Birthday. The karaoke rooms are nice and so are the staff. the selection of songs not so good. The worse part was the food! Sushi was bad! Very bad!. Poor quality! The worse food that we had ever eaten. Tasted stale not fresh.

DO NOT let the bad reviews keep you from coming here!! I was a little bit ambivalent to book a room here because of some of the reviews. However, this was not our experience at all. Everything about this place was absolutely great! I had a few hiccups (on my end), where I thought "Uh Oh, they're going to get annoyed with me and my requests" but it was furthest from it. They were absolutely more than accommodating and happy to do so. We reserved the VIP Room #1 for up to 40 people (we had 20) for 8:00pm. Before that, dinner for 17 at 6:30pm. Thier Sushi was good. It came out fairly quickly and most came together but the Bento boxes take longer to cook, so they came out a bit after the rolls but were very tasty. We kept ordering here & there and they accommodated at our pace always checking in on us. They brought the Karaoke contract over to the table for me to review before going into the room at about 8:00pm but told me the time in the room doesn't start until they walk us back, explain the room & then the clock starts. So not to rush and we could finish our food/drinks there or we could take them in with us. Again at our pace. The room was GREAT! Different settings for Disco Lights, the system has been updated I believe and it shows. They have just about everything, in any way you want to here it, read it or sign it. Overall don't be weary of the other reviews. Go and experience a wonderful time with friends & family like we did. A few things to mention from the reviews, we interfaced with several staff members and every single one of them where AWESOME! They looked like they were having fun right along with us and/or happy to see us having such fun. On the terms & conditions, as long as you read the contract terms, meaning costs, fees, taxes, there are no "hidden fees" or costs that should sneak up on you. The rooms have a cleaning fee. I was fully aware of it, aside from the gratuity. The larger rooms are a bit pricey, but totally worth it. And even better if you're splitting costs. And of course you cannot bring outside (homemade) food into the rooms, it's food code enforcement. However, they will make exceptions for a birthday cake. All in all, the rules are thier rules and they are all right there when reserving a room. You're allowed not to agree, and not to book. But you would be missing out if you did.
