The furniture is very old and should be updated a little, or at least the tabletops should be refinished. You should offer more than one type of dairy milk. Only offering whole milk to your customers for a coffeehouse is not a great business decision. We walked down to Mast Coffee and were given a couple of choices. Additionally, Mast Coffee was cheaper. Unfortunately, you're closer to our home. But we also learned that Naked Coffee was just down the street, so we will be going to Naked Coffee during the week, and Mast on the weekend, from now on. This coffeehouse is dark and dingy. My response to owner: If you honestly have non fat dairy milk, why did your barista clearly tell us that you only regularly carry whole dairy milk and two non dairy options? On a positive note: We like your "L" Street cafe, baristas are nice and friendly.

The food and atmosphere were wonderful, but the coffee was poorly made and the barista was very unfriendly and very pointedly ignored us until we initated the interaction. I was really surprised because I've had nothing but great experiences at the other locations, but I was super disappointed in this one. Maybe if the coffee hadn't been so watery and bitter then I wouldn't have been so bothered by how rude they were, but I took one sip of my cap and that was enough for me. Hopefully I have better luck next time!

I recently was here for work reasons and there is no ventilation in the kitchen because it used to be a Starbucks. Due to this, there is grease all over the place and bugs flying around. If you wanna avoid food poisoning, don’t go here.

I dropped in for a little caffeinated pick me up. With losing an hour of sleep with daylight savings, I need a little something. I arrived a little before 10:30am Sunday morning and the place was packed!!! Which is fine, I was taking my order to go. The cashier seemed a bit cranky. She said 'Hello" in a very flat, and monotone manner. No welcoming vibes from her or any employees here. I just figured it was due to the time change and losing an hour of sleep. The menu of caffeine options for coffee and tea was very underwhelming and may I say....basic?!? (Hot chocolate, loose leaf tea, latte, mocha, etc) Now, I can see why they have seasonal drinks, cuz that menu is not it. LOL. There was nothing that jumped out aside from chai tea. I wanted a lavender latte. That is not on the menu. I was thinking I could order a latte and add lavender syrup. Nope, the only syrup options are vanilla and almond. Huh? They did have a lot of food options. Maybe 40 Acres is popular for the food? Anyways, I ended up ordering a small latte with oat milk w/ no sweetener, to go. The lids at the station were either too big or too small for the cup...so, topless I go!! LOL. I took a few sips, grabbed a sleeve for the cup, sprinkled a little brown sugar, before heading out the door. I don't know what brew they serve here, but, I do not like it. The coffee was bitter and didn't have any note that stood out to me. It was very acidic. The saving grace was the oat milk and brown sugar I added. Now, if I ordered just black coffee, I couldn't see myself finishing it. I was underwhelmed by my experience here. So, much so I didn't even bother taking photos! I just wanted outta there! :) My positives: my order was accurate (It's a basic order, it better be accurate! LOL), and my drink was ready quickly. I don't see myself coming back. This is not a business I plan on visiting again.

I went to listen to jazz on a Sunday afternoon and decided to get an early dinner. I had no idea that the food would be so good. I ordered the soup of the day which was a chicken vegetable lentil soup which came at a perfect temperature and was full of flavor. Next, I had the vegetable quiche which was light and fluffy and perfectly seasoned. The quiche came with a green side salad topped with some goat cheese crumbles and just enough balsamic dressing. Delicious!

I really want to like this place being that it is so close to my work but after multiple different visits this place is so disappointing. Long story short, the staff is unfriendly and barely make eye contact. It feels like you're bothering them when you're ordering. Coffee is okay. I sat for 20 minutes waiting for my scone to be heated, then it was undercooked and doughy.

Cool place, and I really liked it up into the point to where it actually took 40 minutes for my burrito to come out.I was late for work and to pick up my daughter. Gott a refund for the burrito portion of my order, but was left hungry and no time to stop for anything else and I suggested that they give me the burrito for free, cold and all for having sat for as long as it did in the back, and to make up for my time. The manager seemed to have a hard time with the notion, and responded in a way that seem like somehow I was inconveniencing them. I left hungry, and late with no time to pick up anything else.Is possible that he didn’t fully understand what was happening.Either way I will not go back unless they want to fix it . Again I like the place everyone was friendly, the vibe was really cool, but that left a bad taste in my mouth.

Delicious hand crafted drinks, true barrista style with foam heart on top! Comfortable lounge with several cafe tables. I didn't eat anything but want to go back and try their menu. It was quite impressive! Full breakfasts, burritos, and of course, pastries.

One of my favorite places to visit. Service is friendly and welcoming, and there is always a spot I love to camp out in to read, journal, or just sit & think. I usually come on weekends, live it here. Definitely a staple. If you have some time, stop by!

Great cozy vibe here! Looking for a chill spot on a rainy day and definitely found it. Servers at the counter were super welcoming and ordering was simple. Food and drink menu's are clearly displayed right behind them. Options for all- we got the carnitas breakfast sandwich and the special which was a bacon and Guyer cheese quiche. Both were delicious. Ordered them with a latte and mocha- delicious as well. Just came up on the place but will definitely go to again. Did get a full house around 9am-10am,but still not a "crowded" feel. There is even a nice little 20-25 lot parking area right behind the cafe. There is also a bookstore attached/next door. Accessible bathrooms as well.

The front door is always open no matter the weather. Rain, 50°, wind, leaf blowers, sirens be damned. It is inhospitable. Thank you for the prompt response, BUT, I just drove by, it is 43° and is raining and the front door is wide open :/

Love that this place is right next to my favorite book store Underground Books. Cozy spot for comfort food, the smell of fresh coffee and relaxing music. Enjoyed reading my new book and having a light dinner by myself
