Very few bars I've been in and felt completely comfortable, but this place is the exception. Everyone in their employees and customers were all in such a great mood and gave almost a familial vibe. We'd mainly came for the arcade in the back which was surprisingly big. When it came to the pinball machines, all 3 were such unique pins that I've never even heard of but they were an absolute blast. I desperately need to own that entertainer pin.

It’s 1:20pm Tuesday Oct 8th thought I’d stop by for a bite to eat and drink before heading to Folsom. This is my first time here too. As we walked in the bar tender asked for id no problem as I’m getting up to show id she walks away and holds a 5 min conversation with an already served customer. Which was the 1st red flag. I then ask about placing an order for food she tells us to order with the waitress that is now outside smoking marijuana in front the f the building. Just terrible service all around. Will never go back.

This place is a joke. There's a line for the bar to order a drink, which is weird enough. But the bouncers here are on a power trip and the bartenders are... careless?
Long story short, we met friends there, took one shot together (except my girlfriend who didn't have anything), and my girlfriend went outside with a friend to chat. Apparently, while she was outside, she was doing things like jumping jacks and other movements and whatnot to stay warm. The bouncers saw this and immediately kicked her out for intoxication - no questions asked.
I tried asking if there was a mistake or if they had the right person but the bouncer just said the bartender told her to kick her out.
Okay.. went to the bartender and surprise surprise - they didn't say anything of the sort. Seems the bouncer saw my girlfriend acting "intoxicated" and asked the bartender permission to eject her, who blindly gave the OK.
Never had any sort of experience like this before. The bartender, Joe was his name?, expressed annoyance that I was protesting this and probably wrote me off as being drunk too, based on the way he didn't care at all about our issue.
Idk. This is a weird spot and I've never had an issue like this before. The staff needs to seriously evaluate what their definition of hospitality and customer service is.

Kicked Out for Sipping Air: A Sobering Mystery
I didn't even have a chance to talk to the bartender, yet somehow they "figured" I was intoxicated. My boyfriend and I popped in for a quick drink, with him indulging while I stayed sober. Just a minute later, someone approached me claiming I was too intoxicated to stay. Really? Are you guys working on a quota?
We asked the bartender what the problem was, and he didn't seem to know. So, who exactly kicked me out? It's a mystery worthy of a detective novel! Kicked out for no reason, and with no explanation, it seems they have a rather unique way of welcoming patrons. Never coming back—cheers to that!

I have two times in my life seen middle aged tattooed chewed-up looking aging old white punk dudes get into street fights where they called each other the N-word and both were in front of Old Tavern.
There was a shooting here last night.
There's also roaches everywhere.

They have zero cognac because they don't want black people there. I asked why the bartender said it's because it's an Irish pub and we feature mostly scotch and whisker, I asked well why do you have 18 kinds of tequila?
Welcoming atmosphere. Celebrated Friends birthday, with Shots and beer. Last minute stop after Peral Jam concert .Made new friends, left with great memories. This was A Monday .
