This spot is such a gem. Consistently delicious ingredients, options to make it how you like/need if you have food restrictions. Add all the veggies options, you don't have to choose just one. The ramen broth is top notch, rich in flavorful, steaming hot and changes with the season. Their chicken is really delicious and pork belly has not disappointed anyone who tries it. Cold somen salad and banh mi are both outstanding options!! I tried the fried chicken a few weeks ago and it was awesome. Crispy, juicy, tender chicken!! We are regulars for lunch now and it's been a treat each time!! It is a casual, order at the counter, seat yourself place. Staff are warm, friendly and helpful if you can't decide what to eat. I hear the line for dinner can get long and it doesn't surprise me. It's worth it.

Friday, 4/19/2024 - My Gfs and I went to eat at Origami Asian Grill for dinner. One of them has been there before and really liked it. So she wanted to bring us there to try it too. Address here is 4801 Folsom Blvd, suite 1, Sacramento, CA 95819. This restaurant is located not too far from Trader Joe's. You do have to wait in line to order your food. There's only 1 cashier to take your order. Parking here is a pain! It's street parking. I drove around and around forever looking for parking. Upon arrival... Pros 1) menu is posted right above the cashier. You can't miss it. 2) it didn't take long to receive all of our food dishes. 3) The servers were all so nice. I forgot to order my Cold Noodle dish with more Salad and need noodles, so I hurry to the staff taking the riches to make the order. I let her know that I totally forgot to tell the cashier that and I apologized. The sis my dish was already made and said they can add more salad in top, which they did. I was okay with that. Super sweet!!! 4) You order your dish and you can add the protein to your dish for an additional fee. I fit tri-tip in mine. And boy when I took a bite of my cold noodle dish, it was so frigging good! The dressing tasted perfect for this dish. The tri-tip was perfectly cooked! 5) all of our food dishes were delicious. The fried chicken was juicey and not dry. 6) when you first walk in, to the left of you towards the entry way to the bathroom, there is a large jug of ice water and hot water with lots of glass cups. You can get your own hot or cold water. I was excited cus I like hot water and it's sitting right there for me to get any time I need more. 7) restaurant was full of people. But our table was clean. They bring out utensils and napkins to you once you get your food. 8) they had dried flowers hanging in the ceiling. Very cute. 9) I saw bottle of wines by the cashier. Not sure if those are there to display should you want to buy a bottle of wine from them Cons 1) parking was a nightmare for me and my friends. It was hard to find parking. 2) The line to order your food can get pretty long. Conclusion I really liked this restaurant. The foods were great. It didn't take long to get our foods. Servers were super nice. I recommend this restaurant. Try it if you haven't yet. We had no issues here.

A friend had recommended this place and since I was in the neighborhood, we thought we'd give it a try. Firstly, the parking was tough. There was a small lot behind the business, but there were only 3 spaces (all taken). Not sure if it was because there was an outdoor "faire" going on at the local artist market across the street, because it was a Saturday afternoon, or both! We drove around the residential area twice before finding a spot to park. So be prepared... it may take a little time to find parking. However, once you make it in, it's a quaint little place with an open kitchen and tables inside. (There's additional seating outside). You place your order with the cashier (we chose a rice bowl with charred onion glaze and grilled chicken, and a ramen with chili miso and marinated tofu). The portions were huge, and the rice bowl was delicious! It had the perfect amount of sauce and a generous portion of chicken. It was so good that I look forward to going back. Next time, maybe my mode of transportation will be a skateboard.

I've been here multiple times and their food is very good. The reason for my low star review is because of customer service. We went on Friday 4/12 and ordered a rice bowl with 2 proteins. Only one protein came out with our meal, and we asked about the second that we paid for. Staff advised they would bring it out right away. We waited but the second protein never came. A staff member came by multiple times ensuring the protein was being worked on and by the time we finished our bowl, we were told we would be refunded for the entire bowl. But, low and behold, we weren't refunded. It's frustrating because they have great food, but if I'm paying 24$ for a rice bowl (2 proteins plus an egg) I'd expect it to be correct.

Best Ramen in Sac. The pork belly is always on point. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Service is always quick and polite. Great spot.

Most delicious Asian quisine in Sacramento. Their veggie bowls are off the chain yummy. The service is outstanding and the prices are reasonable.

Some of the best ramen in Sacramento. Friendly staff. Good environment. Great location. Fresh food & meat cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back for more!

We love going to Oragami! They rotate their menus based on season. I think some of our favorites are the fried chicken...HANDS DOWN and the Smokey broth in the ramen. Oh... and the poke! It's in our east sac rotation of places to hit each month

There are so many ramen restaurants that disappoint- this is the opposite. The broth is rich and flavorful, the pork is roasted to full flavor and texture, and the egg is suitably soft. Good luck finding better. The Banh Mi is similarly excellent. Origami Grill sticks to a simple menu and gets each item just right. Well done, all around.

I ordered the Bahn Mi with pork belly. It was a very tasty and filling sandwich. My friend ordered the Ramen, which he enjoyed. We split the fried chicken, which was decent, but I don't think I would order it again. The interior was very nice, it looks like it would be a good place to have a drink. You order at the counter and they give you a number.

A modern feel restaurant in East Sacramento serving Asian fusion dishes. We ordered the fried chicken appetizer and banh mi sandwich. We were disappointed in the fried chicken as it was way too salted to enjoy. This seems like a one off because all the reviews on Yelp and Reddit rave about this dish. The pork belly banh mi was flavorful, fresh, and full of meat. If there's one dish you must try, it's the banh mi.

Delectable! Absolutely delicious food and kind service, the fruity tea is a little expensive and not worth it, but the chicken tenders are incredible. The place has a nice chill vibe with healthy ingredients!

Excellent Ramen. Recommend adding the pork belly. I love the rotating veggie sets i usually pick 1 and 2. Fried chicken tenders on the side are great.

Great Casual Dining Spot. I came here with a friend after he had invited me to eat at this place. The staff were welcoming and they paid attention to me. The food was delicious and portions served were filling. You get what you pay for here. The food was also served very quickly and it tasted fresh. My only complaint would be that it could get crowded but that's because this place is so darn good.
