Excellent place to purchase a variety of things. I love their sweets and
Frozen Pot stickers ... Thank you.
For the great customer service.

I visited this place for the first time on New Year's Eve and stood in line before they opened, excited to get some mochi for family and friends. Unfortunately, the mochi I purchased was hard as a rock. When I called to inquire, I was told it was from the day before, which was not mentioned when I bought them.

Please consider be more transparent in the future about the product’s freshness, so customers can make an informed decision.

A not-so-hidden gem of Downtown Sac. I love the chorus man just but really everything there is good.

I love this spot, so many delicious treats. And Mecha Mucho is in the same building and they are utterly delicious.

The shaved ice is like a mountain! I didn't realize how much they could fit, it was a little overwhelming but great.

Best mochi in Northern California. Even better than my mom's but don't tell her I said so...

Missing Japan I decided to stop by on my way back to the Bay Area. I have been coming to this store since the eighties, but just for shaved ice and I never really developed my taste or got the courage to try mochi until more recently.
I bought a few different types but so far I only had the orange one, but it was absolutely delicious. I will not be sharing after all!
Nice also to have the polite bowing and gentle manners again, kindness that goes along way for me. Thank you

I’ve been here since I was a kid and it’s still the best place to buy manju in all of Sac hands down!

Small Japanese store, lots of different kinds of mochi. Easy in and out if you know what you want.

Unlike San Francisco or Berkeley, this Sacramento Japanese bakery store is still open and very popular and friendly.

Prices are reasonable given inflation.
With off street parkings.

Excellent not-too-sweet mochi. Original, chunky, and chocolate are delicious. In the spring, the cherry mochi is a delight.

They also sell fresh tofu, which is worth a special stop.
