This is my second visit to the Oyster Bar, and again they didn't disappoint. We have enjoyed the Prianha Fries, Shrimp Tacos, Fish Tacos, Pan Roast, and Etouffe. Service is Excellent Friendly and professional. We will be coming back.

I would give the food two negative stars if possible.
This was our second visit, having previously enjoyed fresh seafood here last year. We decided to celebrate my nephew’s graduation here, as there are limited options for a seafood tower in Sacramento during lunch time.
Unfortunately, our experience this time was very unpleasant. We ordered two dozen oysters, one or two dozen shrimp, a lobster roll, two jambalayas, pasta, and another dish I can't recall. The shrimp were not fresh and had an off taste. The oysters were borderline spoiled, the lobster roll was extremely dry, and the snow crab smelled bad, indicating it was far from fresh.
The poor quality of the seafood was apparent, and our hands retained an unpleasant smell, suggesting the seafood was not handled properly. Concerned about the quality, I immediately informed our server. She only mentioned she would notify the chef, but there was no follow-up or effort to address our concerns directly.
As a result, six of us felt unwell for the remainder of the afternoon. Fortunately, we avoided food poisoning, but the experience was enough to ensure we will not return. It’s disappointing that a place we once enjoyed has let its standards slip so drastically.
I strongly advise anyone who experiences similar issues to insist on fresh food or request a replacement. I regret not being more assertive and hope others can avoid the same mistake.

I spend alot of money at this place, and they gave me a $10.00 coupon to use and when I showed up the next time to use the discount code and provide proof with a screenshot they didn’t want to honor the coupon. Not only did they not want to honor it they didn’t want to provide any accommodations as a secondary option after I’ve been spending my hard earned money’s weekly at their establishment. This is the second time I’ve experienced rudeness and a lack of professionalism. I don’t appreciate the lack of service and the owner could have done better in accommodating. I honestly felt that they thought I was lying or trying to get over because I was black! If I was another nationality they would have accommodated me no problem. Two weeks ago they convinced me to buy a dozen raw oysters and they tasted horrible!

Fresh seafood ??Fast service.Reasonable prices.We ordered oysters, gumbo, fish & chips, cioppio, pasta, lobster Mac & cheese and HUGE 1lb lobster roll! I was able to share my lobster rolls with 3 people. Everything was great. We throughly enjoyed our meal. ??

Server (Manager) helpful w/food suggestions. 2 flies bothered us the entire time (I asked if they had a fly swatter, she said "yes" but never attempted to get rid of flies. Shrimp/crab balls were good. Shrimp w/noodles not very tasty. Gumbo had an odd taste ( rue was tangy). Not good at all. We are seafood lovers. Very disappointed.
