Wanted to try their food again but not through door dash... I called to place a phone order lady on the phone said come in 40 minutes I'm thinking it's busy and it was slightly loud I said okay. I got there in 50 minutes the restaurant was bone dry and empty. Kids running around the restaurant looked like the workers were baby sitting or so. I got there my food was not ready or prepared my daughter was having a fit I waited another 10-14 minutes very dissatisfied. The egusi was not as salty as last time and the chicken was dry . Never again waist of 26$ and they were all on the phone. Poor customer service

It was a Tuesday lunch time when my friend and I finally decided to try African food for the first time. Palace food service was the close by. When we entered in it took awhile for someone to greet us. When someone finally did greet us he was on the speaker phone with someone. He gave us one menu knowing that there were my friend and I. Since it took awhile for him to get our orders I used the bathroom. The bathroom had a weird smell. There was no toilet paper and when I washed my hands the soap dispenser was not working. My friend told me maybe we should just leave. I mentioned let's just give it a try and if we don't like it we don't ever have to come back again. When we finally got the food. The food was small portion. We ordered 2 fufu, and 2 side entrees to go with the fufu. The bill was almost 60 dollars. The food was not worth it to be costing us that much. Definitely not going back. My friend and I were very disappointed.

My review for the food is 5 stars. I had never had this kind of cuisine before and was excited to try fufu with a stew and the tilapia was also very flavorful. I rate the experience 3 stars overall, though, because the wait took FOREVER. We waited close to an hour to get our food and it was not busy (only 1 other table of 2 that arrived after us). The server was nice and made recommendations on what to order, but the wait time alone makes me hesitant to go back, even though the food is worth it - in my opinion.

The server took a while to take our order and the food also took a while to come out, but it was worth it. The food is amazing. It was our first time trying African dishes, and they were definitely made with love and care.

I drove from Reno to visit my Sister and this place was on my list of places to try. I am glad I did as the food was absolutely delicious! I had the Okra soup with Fufu and my sister had the Banga soup with chicken and Fufu. Both dishes were scrumptious but the Banga took 1st place. Will definitely be returning to the Palace! They have karaoke too!
Customer service 0/10 and fufu and Egusi HORRIBLE
