Good food - we had pasta dishes. Pretty pricey for what it is ($20+ for a vegetarian penne dish which is really MAYBE 1.5 servings). Ambiance is very cute and Italian inspired. They were understaffed during our visit but managed. The drinks are a good value - you basically get two drinks for the price of one.

We had a phenomenal time! Espresso martinis were the best we’ve had in sac. We shared the burrata appetizer. Pro tip: the sun-dried tomato butter and burrata on the fresh table bread was a religious experience. I had the seafood pappardelle, and it was great! Portion sizes were pretty big, but not so big we had to take any leftovers. Perfect size. Our server Victoria was super attentive and so sweet! Cannot wait to come back and try more stuff.

I sat at the bar and was overcharged and in the spirit of excellent customer service the owner or manager alerted me that there was a service resolution to reverse the overcharging. The atmosphere here was very nice, the food I had (calamari and a pizza) was very excellent, and an error in charges reduced what would have been a 5 star experience. I don't review every time I go out to eat, I typically only review really good or really bad experiences. However, I always find it admirable when establishments monitor and respond to customer reviews. When that happens I feel like you can visit with the confidence that they will do the right thing when mistakes occur. Thank you for your response. I've edited my previous review to reflect the quality of the food and atmosphere, and the respect I have for an engaged and responsive ownership and management team. Thank you for resolving my issue.

The Parpadelle di Mare was awesome! Very creamy and we left feeling satisfied. You also get complimentary herb bread with a sun dried tomato sauce. The bread was warm and fluffy. Beautiful restaurant and great service. Will be back!

The best Italian I've ever had! We went during the happy hour and availed ourselves of the bargain-priced drinks. We had a nice Barbera d'Asti that was very fruit-forward. Yummy. There was four-cheese bruschetta with a little marinara on the side that would be perfect for one if all you wanted was a glass of vino and a snack. I'll return to prove that theory soon. On to the main course. A seafood risotto that was big enough for three people. It was absolutely delicious with crab, shrimp, and lobster in it. We added their 24-hour marinated grilled steak to it to make it a Surf & Turf. It was exquisite and there was enough left over for another meal. Top it off with a scoop of Gelato and a Limoncello for the perfect ending to an early evening supper. Best of all, we got out of there for under $100 (Spring of 2024). The outdoor seating is great, but can get kinda warm. Service was excellent and they have earned a new customer!

Pasta with sweet sausage was great, Mac and cheese good. Service was terrific! It's noisy, so not great for a quiet dinner. But fun atmosphere!

Bad cocktails, bad pasta, and pretty good pizza. I stopped by for an early dinner and opted to sit outside since it was a beautiful day, but I soon regretted it as the seeds from a giant tree rained down on me and my food throughout my meal. Cocktails - French 75: a classic. Theirs is okay. Nothing special. Fine I guess? - House Bellini: it says it was white peach puree, Prosecco, and peach schnapps. Now I know I probably shouldn't have ordered it since schnapps does not belong in a Bellini but against my better judgment, i did. I was puzzled that it came out with a pink color based on the ingredient list. It was also oddly garnished with a maraschino cherry. No, not a nice luxardo cherry, but those disgusting ones you find in fruit cocktail or atop an ice cream sundae. I'm guessing some of the maraschino cherry syrup made its way into my drink. Needless to say, it was terrible. Food - bread with tomato butter: good free bread. The butter was interesting and pretty tasty. Unfortunately, it came straight out of the fridge so it was difficult to spread. - caprese classica: all you need to know is that it's served with crunchy tomatoes. It's also doused in an overly sweet balsamic reduction with a scant chiffonade of basil leaves that you can't taste. The cheese was good but nothing special. Along the lines of some belgioso. - pizza forestale: probably the highlight of the meal. Pretty good but not worth $25. I'd rather eat a Pizzasaurus Rex. Good mushroom flavor though. - shrimp diavala: I forget the exact name of the dish but it was spaghetti in some kinda spicy oil with shrimp. This tasted like something I would've made as a college student when I didn't know anything about cooking. The oil/sauce was pretty bland. The shrimp was nicely cooked though it had a bit of an abnormal softness to the texture and sadly lacked any seasoning. I had no desire to eat any more than a couple bites. My meal also included a beer and glass of Jacques Dumont Sauvignon Blanc (a pretty mediocre-to-bad glass of wine) and the total after tax and tip was about $140. I'd maybe consider going back for pizza but probably not at these prices since I know I can get better for less. And because the rest of the food and drink ranged from mediocre to bad. The service was fine. The ambiance of sitting outside was fine (aside from the seeds dropping down from the trees and the occasional drunks making noise from those party bike things). Parking in this area is a nuisance as always.

I really enjoyed dining here. The newly redone inside is pretty, good natural light when it's sunny. Our waiter so super patient, he let us know what he thought was good, told us about our food. I really hope this place is here to stay because I want to try more of the food!! Everything I tried down to the house bread was great. I came in the morning which wasn't so busy but this place can get packed in the evening even with outside dining.

Host Kenneth and server Mike H. were great!! I was spoiled on my birthday! I felt like I knew them from the sincere welcome they gave us! Very funny and amazing attitudes! Thanks for making my birthday special guys! Oh, for the food too of course!! I loved the ambiance of the place. This is the exact outdoor seating I was hoping for. Relaxing string lights and prices were average for a nice restaurant.

Pazza Notte is a must for anyone looking for well priced Italian food in midtown area of Sacramento! We ordered the vodka pasta, seafood pizza, calamari fritti, and garlic bread. All four dishes were amazing and well seasoned! However, be warned: the serving sizes are pretty large so I highly recommend sharing a few dishes if you can! This isn't a problem at all but rather a good problem since we were starving that night! The ambiance was very nice and clean and romantic. They were kind enough to give us two free glasses of delicious white wine since my partner and I were celebrating our four year anniversary! The service was top notch and I want to give a shoutout to Mike in particular! He was so kind and always looking out for us. If you're lucky to have him as your server, you're in for a perfect time! Will definitely be coming back (:

Went on a Saturday lunch time and it was pretty packed but didn't wait too long to be seated. They had indoor and outdoor seating so it wasn't too loud. The food was delicious once it got to our table....maybe our server was slammed but it really did take a while (35-40 min) for our food to be served after ordering. It was only 3 of us so not sure? Will try to eat here again because the food tasted great!

Last night was my first time at Pazza Notte. it is now my favorite Italian place in Sacramento. I split a simple margarita pizza with my wife. It was just perfect. The service was great, prices fair and the ambience was appropriate. We will be back.
