Atmosphere was fantastic, our server was attentive and friendly, but the food was terrible and didnt do the environment justice. What a waste of a great restaurant space. The food was so disappointing my husband says we won't ever go back. The lettuce in my salad had way too many slimy, rotting dark green pieces. The guys ordered steaks; they were tiny, and only came with a small dish with a few fries in it. That's it. No vegetable, no garnish, just a steak and about...
Calamari was great, our waitress, Allison, was phenomenal, scallops delicious and risotto failed completely. Dessert, however, brought the smile back. Thank you Allison for pointing out some under appreciated Sacramento attractions. We enjoyed them!
The food was not worth the cost and they advertised surf and turf but they didn't have it. To be fair they told me their chef had quit suddenly, so I hope to go back and try the food another time. The service was great which means a lot to me.
