🚫 Racism Has No Place in Customer Service 🚫 Sacramento Airport Terminal B.

This morning at 5 AM, before it was even my turn in line, I witnessed Kimberly, the woman working the counter, treat multiple customers with clear disrespect. At first, I thought it might just be her tone, but soon it became obvious that it was racially motivated.

Customers who appeared Hispanic or Asian were spoken to harshly, dismissively, and rudely. Meanwhile, customers who looked different were greeted with smiles, kindness, and a welcoming attitude.

One young man in line (photo attached) and a young woman before him were made to feel extremely uncomfortable. Everyone in line noticed the difference in how they were treated. It was painful to watch, and it should not happen in a place where people of all backgrounds come to start their day.

If someone cannot treat all cultures with respect, they should not be in a position of customer service. In 2025, we should be far past this racism is unacceptable. We are all equal, and no one deserves to feel ā€œless thanā€ when they walk into a coffee shop.

Chinese lady was very rude after she made me the wrong drink. I ask if she can fix the drink and she tried to charge me again for the drink I asked for. I told her to take the drink back the 1 she made wrong and she told me she'll still charge me.

The guy barista working on 2/14/25 530 has no idea how to make a Havana cappuccino(He made without the condensed milk.... He was super rude on top of the that. Do better Peet at SMF. The person they rang me up however was excellent. They helped to try correct the mistake the barista made. Much appreciated.

PLEASE BECAREFUL eatting at this Peets Coffee Shop at the Airport . I ordered their breakfast sandwich sausage and eggs on a bagel .an when I boarded my flight within a hr I was sick from food poisoning. I was vomiting throughout my entire flight .Even when I landed in Portland and boarded to go to Redmond ,Oregon.I was sick for 3 days had to go to the Emergency Hospital .Please becareful , those employees that work there ,have no experience on food quality and they should use only fresh good products ..I could have died .Dont be the next Victim !!!!

I saw at least 5 people who worked there at various intervals while I stood in line for 10 minutes. Yet the one person working the register was also baking things, serving hot and cold drinks, refilling coffee pots, and chasing customers down when their cards were declined (which happened to 2 of the 5 people in front of me).

The other 4 employees mostly stayed in the back out of view, although one did add muffins to an already full pastry display.

Most folks behind me left. I would have left too, but I wasn’t in a hurry and was enthralled by the chaos unfolding behind the counter. I eventually got my small black coffee which tasted GREAT!

Ran out of all sandwiches before 6:30am, what kind of show are you guys running here? Only two employees too? What a joke Pete’s coffee is. They should have had a Starbucks there instead.

I love Peet's. Love seeing the crema on top of my caramel macchiato. However at the airport this was terrible. I even had them remake it. It tastes like they didn't brew the espresso right. $8 later and I can't even drink it, even after them remaking it.

Seriously? One employee at 8 am on a weekend? She's doing great but shame on you peets for not staffing better. 45 minutes to get through line. Glad flight was delayed.
