I showed up to Pegasus bright and early-- too bright and too early, actually, since I had failed to check the hours. I had to wait a few minutes for them to open. As soon as the door opened, a line began to form. Even though I had been waiting for the shop to open, I still managed to be second or third in line. At first, because I didn't see any of the items I had been hoping to try, I was just going to pick up a hazelnut pastry. As I was about to pay for it, I asked, "You don't have any pineapple rolls, do you?" "Yes, right here." This is when I realized that there were several trays of baked goods behind the counter that hadn't been put out yet. "What about a green onion and sausage roll?" "Yes, just one?" The pineapple roll was good, but was not what I expected. Most of the roll was just dough, while the top was glazed with a sweet, crunchy pineapple-flavored layer. Still, the dough was really good-- hot, fresh, and a little chewy, almost like mochi, but better. (I don't usually like mochi, but I loved this hot, sweet, slightly chewy dough.) The green onion and sausage roll beat my expectations. I think this may have been the single best roll I have ever ordered from any bakery so far. Hot, moist, fresh perfection. The sausage looked like a hot dog, but tasted more flavorful than that. The dough was mind-blowing. Memorably good. I think this might become one of my new favorite bakeries. I can't wait to come back and try more of their goodies.

What a wonderful experience with this bakery! I was traveling from Los Angeles to Sacramento and needed a birthday cake for my sister-in law. I called two days ahead of time and ordered one of their cakes. The presentation was beautiful not to mention the spongy, light and airy delicious tasting cake! The service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend this business for their pastries and service!

Great tasting pastries! When I come here, my tray will be stacked up high with the Coco Cream buns, pineapple buns, tuna croissants or the spam croissants. Prices are reasonable. Service is always good.

Most of their bakeries are good. However, we got egg tart and the custard was dry on the top. Check the egg tart before buying. Also do not recommend the chocolate pie, it was hard and not moist.

The smallest cake was $18 before covid. Now it's $46. It's a rip-off. 6 inch for $46! Shame on me for falling for the rip off.

Pretty good soup noodles and the price is good too. Love their milk tea as it is HK style and you can ask them to skip the sugar and only add condense milk.

This is the second time I got a cake from them. Tastes good but I would suggest no writing. First time was uneven, and in black (they don't ask you what color). Second time is still uneven and black.

English is their second language, but they completely satisfied my choices. When I saw them to order a quinceanera cake, they offered me & my mother coffee & tastes of their cakes & gave us samples to take home. The cake was delicious, beautiful & delivered on time. These people are A-1Parking: Easy to park

Parking can be hard to find during the weekend. They currently have a deal for the egg tarts! Half a dozen (6) for $7.68 or something like that. Limited to one box only. We were so happy when they brought out a fresh batch. It was delicious. The picture doesn't do it justice. I like that they converted the other half of the bakery to a sit down area so you can enjoy the goodies. There's not as big of a variety but you get what you get! Staff can be hit or miss.

I'm in love with this place! So recently, and in light of the geopolitical climate, I've decided to stop doing business with Starbucks and find local vendors instead. Thank you Yelp for helping me find this gem! They greet you with the best smile, and have a huge indoor space for couples, families, or if you just want to take your laptop and work there. I tried their Oreo cheesecake and fell in love, but I wasn't very fond of their Mocha, too sweet and too watery, so knocking off 1 star. Will be definitely back to try more of their offerings as my kids go to school nearby. Irrelevant comment: Google maps definitely hides these places when you click on "coffee" so I'm forever in debt to Yelp, as without it I wouldn't find Pegasus and other local coffee shops!
