This is the only good karaoke bar in Sacramento, but it's really only if you want to listen to people sing. The karaoke DJ prioritizes people who pay him, directly from his own admission. If you don't slide him some money, there's very little chance you'll get to sing. This guy gets paid by the venue, yet acts as if he's not getting his due unless you tip him. It's like a bartender saying, "Well, you didn't tip me well, so you don't get a drink." Having worked in food and beverage for over 20 years, I know this isn't how it's supposed to work. I was really excited about this place, but after my experience, it's doubtful I'll return. I watched numerous people who walked in 30-90 minutes after me get up to sing, while I never got the chance. My wife was planning her birthday here with 45 people, but now we're looking elsewhere. The bartenders and the security guard, though, are amazing. Their professionalism and friendliness stood out, making the visit not horrible.

Drinks were good, bar tenders nice. My main issue of not wanting to go back is the karaoke DJ who took tips to skip the line. I was there for 3+ hours waiting to sing 1 song and watched this one guy sing 3 times. Unfair, annoying, and don't plan on going back. Greedy and selfish.

I went there with a group of friends for karaoke and the people are so welcoming and fun. One drink minimum to participate in karaoke and that's awesome to keep supporting this business. Will recommend for any one to go who just wants to grab a drink or sing your heart away.

Service is hit and miss, depends on who is bartending. If you enjoy Kareoke you have to show up early, like 7pm or you may not sing at all. Those who show up early and put up 4 songs will sing all their songs before anyone who shows up after. If you enjoy kareoke this bar may not be for you.

Went along with my boyfriend to play steel tip darts. Since he is on a league. I didn't know anything about the bar serving food or that it was Karaoke night. It turned out being a great experience. The bar tender he was very hospitable and great customer service satisfaction. This bar is like hidden we wouldn't have known about it if we didn't get the address from our dart friends to meet up with them. People can't get too drunk because it's an upstairs bar on 2nd floor. They would have a hard time getting down stairs.

Had alot of fun at our Christmas party here

I've been coming here for over 2 decades. Things have definitely changed for the worst. The overall staff is rude and full of drama based on my last experience. I will not be coming here anymore. Fun attendees and good earlier memories though.

You get the random later 30s and 40s folks mixed in with all the 20s and 30s. Good spot. Good Karaoke ? ? ?

The best karaoke bar in sac hands down! A bit divey but worth the visit especially on weekends. Look for the concrete

Fun place for karaoke but a bit disorganized and a bit trashy. The place needs a good face lift. Still worth visiting.

This place is racist. Me and my Black family members came to this place and they would not let us in. The bouncer lied and said we had alcohol in the parking lot and said their rules are to not let us in even though we pulled into the parking lot with a Uber. The man then said they were not racist and grabbed the only Black man in the bar. The Black man even said what the bouncer said was weird and he and his party left. Me and my family have been coming here for years and wanted to come in honor of my late brothers birthday yet due to being Black could not come into the bar and Karaoke.

WARNING: If you don't tip the DJ, you won't get to sing karaoke. I waited 3 hours to sing, waited through multiple people going over and over (the DJ even took a spot for himself to sing over other patrons) and then at 1:19 AM my name was put up on the board to sing, but because someone tipped the DJ (DJ SituAsian - very rude when I inquired about this and overall very full of himself) I was bumped. So basically, if you don't tip the DJ, you won't sing. Don't get your hopes up.

Bartenders were great. Karaoke guy was the worst I've ever experienced. Over two hours wait, didn't get to sing, while some "regulars" got to sing twice. His equipment sucks too.
