Simple & Awesome. Lots of kimchi selection, Short ribs, kimchi fried rice, and cap cay. (Sp?). Super tasty with some grape soju followed by hot tea. Go to for some great food any day of the week.

Finally got to eat here for the first time! The food is a little pricey but VERY good. Jin is amazing and so sweet! Minus one star for the server who took our order. She asked us if we needed a few min and we said yes; she came back and said "are you ready now? we have a lot of people." like... chill lol. everything else was great!

This restaurant compelled me to write my first ever Google review, because of how much I loved it. The place was simple and clean, a very welcoming atmosphere, and I could tell a lot of Korean locals also enjoy this place. The staff was very kind and sweet in serving me, like it was my Grandma serving me. I ordered the Stone Pot Bibimbap with beef and have no complaints, exactly what I expected. I liked that they did not skimp on the side dishes as many places do, they gave me a good amount and a good variety. I can't wait to come back and try everything else on their menu. Very authentic!

Ordered the Galbi Jim coz it’s the best seller. Turned out it’s the worst Galbi Jim I ever tasted. The taste is bland, and overloaded with broth. It’s like a soup on a bowl. It’s way different to Galbi Jim I ever tasted, the beef was hard and the potatoes too. Will never eat here again.

Excellent food and service. Delicious and generous portions of bacon. Worth a trip to eat there

Of the Korean restaurants I've tried in the Sacramento area, Pine Tree House has one of the most varied & abundant selection of banchan (side dishes). Their kimchi is well-balanced and my favorite of the 12 dishes served was the eggplant one, a dish I haven't seen anywhere else. As far as main dishes, everything we ordered was tasty. My only critique would be the portion sizes are small for the price, especially in comparison to nearby Korean spots. But, I suppose this can be justified with the 12 banchan dishes that came with it... Overall, a solid spot with great service. Would return and recommend.

I came back from snowboarding and searched for Korean restaurant and random came here. All dishes were delicious, the side dishes well prepare. The service was great and friendly. There were so many local came here for lunch and dinner which was improved that I pick the right spot! I would recommend this place for delicious Korean food!

Came here on recommendation of a friend that recently had the raw marinated crab, and I had to try! I came with my cousin on a Tuesday around 4 and it wasn't busy at all, traffic getting there is just rough. Ordering was quick and easy and the lady who took our order was super friendly and approachable. The place itself is nice, and each table was separated by a little wall for privacy which was nice! We ordered the spicy rice cakes (tteokbokki), kimchi friend rice, and of course, raw marinated crabs. Everything came out one by one relatively quickly and we were able to dig into the fried rice while waiting for the crab. The fried rice was super buttery and a bit on the plain side but SO WORTH to cut from the rich and savory flavors of the rice cakes and crab. Also recommend squeezing the crab meat ONTO the rice and eating it together! Overall, this was a hidden gem for me and I'd love to come back to try the samgyetang and a cold noodle!

MY GO TO KOREAN RESTAURANT!! Definitely pricier than other local Korean restaurant, but the serving sizes makes up for it. Amazing service as always! If you're looking for authentic korean food, then this place is it!!

This is our go to Korean place in Sac. The staff are friendly and helpful, like we were invited to have dinner at our Korean Aunt's House. The larger stews and soups cooked at the table are awesome and filling. Great variety of ban chan. Our favorite is the steamed egg. It isn't a fancy dish, but it is well done and satisfying. I would suggest to dine-in as many of the dishes get soggy in the takeout containers.

Pine Tree House is HANDS DOWN my favorite Korean restaurant in Sacramento! I have eaten here many times and can proudly say that I have never been disappointed. :D Their banchan is top tier. They give you a variety of different dishes (kimchi, steamed egg, eggplant, black beans, radish, kelp... and more!) and each one tastes homemade and fresh. I LOVE their soon tofu and stew dishes. Sooo flavorful, perfect spice and always packed with veggies/meat. Delicious. The portions are generous, so I usually have leftovers to enjoy at home. Service is always fast and accommodating, and the staff are friendly. Inside is clean and comfy. The menu items are not super affordable, but they are 100% worth the price! Please go check them out!!

Excellent Korean food here. A bit pricey, but you are served many different plates with each entrée. Lovely people work here as well.
