The tartette was delicious, and my husband's “lapin” was the best he ever had, even for a Frenchman. The mussels are an absolute must! Service was very personable and the ambience was fun and exciting.

The starters are always inventive and delicious. Prawn stix, salmon stix, crab fritters, etc., just wonderful. Don't skip the starters. Soups excellent too. Hard for me to pass up the mussels, which I usually order, but this time I had the cassoulet: duck, sausage, white beans. very good. I will say that both my son and I thought the sauce was too salty, but then we don't cook with salt so perhaps we are sensitive to it. Lava cake and vanilla bean gelato a fine way to finish the meal. I would have had the beignets (French style doughnuts) but they aren't available on Sundays.

Our table wasn't available at our reservation time, but we sat at the bar and started on a good bottle of petit sirah. Once our table was ready, service attentive and quick. The baked brie appetizer was sensational. The roast chicken may not sound exciting, but it was among the best chicken we'd ever had. The pheasant pappardelle was great; while the actual pheasant itself was a bit dry, the pasta itself and sauce were excellent. On a recommendation, we finished with a slice of the cheesecake. It was show-stoppingly delicious. You have to try it, even if you don't normally like cheesecake.
Inside, it's a cozy, romantic vibe without being overly pretentious. This is definitely going to be one of our special occasion places, and I recommend you make it one of yours as well.

Everything was delicious, as always!!! We started with seasonal appetizer specials of stuffed squash blossoms and heirloom tomatoes with burrata. Then the rib eye and salmon entrees. Finished with the apple tarte tatin and crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully!!! Service is always impeccable. Thank you.

As is customary, the culinary experience was exceptional. On Friday evening, we dined at PlanB restaurant that created an ambiance conducive to an enjoyable evening, with a delectable dinner and impeccable customer service!
A lovely dinner. Had the tomato and burrata appetizer. Excellent. Wife had the lamb chops which were cooked perfectly and tasted great. She loved the ratatouille. I had the pork medallions with shrimp--an odd combination but it worked very well. The sauce over both was paired well and was cohesive but not overly creamy or gloppy. The only less-than-excellent aspects were very slow and sparse service and the bread is pedestrian. A French restaurant should have crusty and warm sliced baguettes with a chewy crumb. Still, neither were a detraction from a wonderful experience and great food.
