Passed this place all the time and finally decided to give it a chance, and I'm glad I did. The menu has a variety of drinks to choose from, and because I'd never tried boba before this, I didn't know which one to get. Thankfully, the cashier was kind enough to assist me with my decision, by offering suggestions. The takoyaki was tasty and the atmosphere was really cozy. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

I barely leave one star review but the milk tea here is literally bad. The oolong milk tea tasted like plain milk and the jasmine milk tea tasted super artificial. I took a sip of the jasmine milk tea and had to spit it out because it tasted like candle and perfume. There's absolutely no tea flavor in the drink, only artificial flavoring. Update: I, being a small business owner myself as well did not meant to hurt the business but just want to reflect my feedback on the milk tea. The service was good but the drinks not so much based solely in my taste of milk tea. There's room for improvement and I hope this place will improve going forward.

Typical boba tea shop. Their drink menu doesn't offer as much option nor any special drinks so it's not that exciting. I haven't tried their food yet, but I'm pretty sure it's like any other tea shop food. Update: Whoaaa...Response to the owner. I look at the menu and choose/order my own drink. Thank you for the response though. You now get one star.

Two stars - Decent drinks, but inconsiderate staff The bubble tea at Tea Bay was good. They had a wide variety of flavors and milk tea options, and the boba itself was fresh and chewy. The food I tried was decent as well, though nothing particularly special. However, my experience was unfortunately marred by the staff. On our way into the restaurant, a young man with glasses working there practically ran into us as he rushed out the door for some reason. He didn't even stop to apologize or greet us when he came back inside, which left a negative impression. The staff were also notably more cheerful with each other than they were when we walked up to the counter, quickly switching their disposition from fun and outgoing to sullen and apathetic. Then while waiting for our food, we could hear the girl (with red hair, dark roots, and glasses down to her shoulders) complaining about the other customers, cursing, and admitting that instead of making one customers drinks correctly, she purposely made them wrong to get back at him. She also loudly relayed a story about a DoorDasher that asked to use the restroom and she told her that she couldn't, which shows this restaurant doesn't respect its customers, delivery partners, or just has a lack of heart for fellow humans. Although the food and drinks were decent, the environment and interactions definitely brought down the overall experience for me. It felt like I was overhearing some rude teens in high school gossip. For an establishment that has a sign that they charge $10 for grumpy guests, I'm surprised they don't also expect the same level of chipper service from their staff. Edit: after seeing the very disrespectful and blatantly inaccurate reply from the owner, I'm downgrading this from a 2-star review to a 1-star review.

The service is always very fast and friendly but everything is pretty overpriced. Food is usually over seasoned or has too much sauce on it. Most of the food is fried and you can tell the oil is too hot. Drinks are good but too expensive. I think the menu was changed recently and $1 for a little bit of sauce is ridiculous. I don't think I'll keep coming.

Ordered the roasted oolong milk tea a few weeks ago. The drink was disgusting and it's not like I haven't had it before. It had a very plain taste to it. The staff wasn't knowledgeable about the drinks either so that was a negative.

I recently visited Tea Bay Boba and was thoroughly impressed by their exceptional service and outstanding quality. The boba tea, made with freshly brewed tea and perfectly cooked tapioca pearls, was a delightful experience. The flavors were balanced, authentic, and not overly sweet, allowing the natural tea taste to shine. The atmosphere of the cafe is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxing break or a friendly catch-up. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, recommending great flavor combinations. Tea Bay Boba has definitely raised the bar for boba tea! Highly recommend for any tea enthusiast or anyone looking for a delicious, refreshing beverage.
