Don’t get table service, they charge you a $14+ gratuity just for them to take your drink/food order. Just order from the bar and sit at an open table. Paid $90 for 5 drinks that were literally 2 small beers and 3 weak mixed drinks. Ridiculous! Sticking with beer next time better price.

Best happy hour in town..we had a large group and they accomodated us . Small platesand themed night. Taco Tuesday and a Magarita. Great place. Highly recommend.

Visited last Friday to catch a nice sunset after work. There was a DJ playing current upbeat music-mixes with plenty of seating indoors as well as the outside pool area overlooking the DOCO plaza, pleasantly uninterrupted by most buildings besides the grand Golden 1 Center near in front. One of the servers, Sasha, soon offered water and welcomed me to Revival. I was asked if I needed a couple more minutes to look over the menu, which I needed none. My order was received timely and with kindness by Sasha, periodically returning to check in If I were enjoying my order or in need of anything else. Her immediate approach displayed a wonderful standard of customer consideration along with efficient delivery of service that goes to also highlight the strong teamwork continuously carried out that night for every other server-customer interaction I witnessed, accentuating the positive environment. Sunset was indeed nice.

The lamb chops weren’t the only lovely thing Revival has to offer— Nathan, the bartender makes the entire experience worth revisiting. He is so welcoming, helpful, and kind, and the drinks are perfection.

I made a reservation, showed up and the place was nearly empty. I was seated at a table - all fine so far - then ignored for more than 10 minutes and saw another table that came in after me receiving service. So I moved to the bar where only 3 people were sitting. And continued to be ignored. After 20 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant and not being acknowledged past the greeting at the door I simply got up and left. And still without any acknowledgment. Clearly my patronage wasn't of value. So my advice - don't go as a solo diner.

Meatballs were spectacular! Service was great once someone acknowledged us. We were told they were having trouble finding us forks and that took a while. But the food looked and smelled great though we couldn't eat it until someone‘scrounged up forks' lol

If you are willing to spend the money this place is great.. food and cocktails poolside. Staff always friendly.

They were out of one of their main menu items then "found" some in the back = they found a box in the freezer. The shrimp was ok but the "sourdough was a crouton. The oysters were basic. The staff! Unprofessional, described a dish as "people like it more than they used to." Stellar! Don't know what I was expecting from a hotel bar/lounge.

Stayed with my girlfriend while we was in town last weekend at the Kipton sawyer. Gorgeous rooms and bathroom to dye for . Got top penthouse floor . Went to the revival for dinner with her. Love the outside patio and the pool. Food 100% amazing. But the service omg they need better. Girlfriend ask this one cocktail waitress for a cosmopolitan. And her reply was what is that I'll ask our bartender. Cosmopolitan is the basic known drink around. And their cocktail waitresses don't know what it is. How disappointing. Then girlfriend had to ask where was her drink twice after 20 mins. I think the cocktail waitresses name she said was sasha . I think she needs more training. You think the Kimpton would hire well trained staff. I recommend the sawyer for the stay but stay away from the revival there are many other better bars in town ..

Wouldn't let us in because we had Canadian drivers licenses. I guess they interpreted the law as it's not state issued. I've been to California dozens of times and went to countless restaurants and bars and this was a first. Horrible experience and I'd recommend going to any of the other restaurants nearby instead. Revival is hands down the least hospitable restaurant in the city. Stay away if you're not American as they'll needlessly give you a hard time

Food options were very limited and overpriced for what you receive. Service was not great, the waitress did not check back on us, unless we motioned to her. We were going to a concert afterwards and told her what time we needed to leave, but we had to physically track her down to pay our bill. Overall, this rooftop bar is overpriced for what you receive. Won't be returning.
