Fantastic food and great prices for what you’re getting

Even for the sake of keeping the toppings fresh, freezing cold rice inari is awful. The egg salad was also Americanized and the flavors did not gel with the inari. Value also felt a little lacking, though prices are ridiculous everywhere.
Service from staff was great but the self-serve sauce bottles were leaking. Plastic gloves were convenient.
Sorry, I would like to be more positive but we were quite disappointed. Having the option for fresher, warm inari would quickly sway me.
Edited to 1 star because thinking about the food makes me mad to this day

This is a cute little shop with a large selection of musubi, inari, and drinks. The inari fillings are generous and really tasty. There are 3 tables inside but most people order to go

I love Rice Theory, I have been several times since I live in the neighborhood and every time it’s delicious. Love the yuzu miso salmon but honestly you can’t go wrong picking at random. My husband and I usually each get 3 things, and sometimes I get extras to bring for lunch the next day. Love this place!!

Quick place to stop in for some to go goodies. The fish tastes fresh and I love the seasoning for their sushi rice (not too sweet!) For dessert I have tried their mango sago pudding-yum that natural mango flavor really shines. As others mentioned parking can be tricky , but it seems pretty common for many of the tiny strip malls in this neighborhood. Could be an issue if you or someone in your party has mobility issues, if it's possible to go on off peak hours that's what I would do if I were to bring my grandma.

We tried the spicy salmon and avocado inari, the tuna onigiri, and the salmon & cream cheese onigiri.
The tuna onigiri was a flavor I wasn’t expecting and the rice tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The salmon and cream cheese was smoked salmon and not raw, and was literally salmon and cream cheese(unmixed) in rice. Definitely not japanese onigiri(I had such high hopes after coming back from japan), and very lack luster, I give these a 1/10.
The spicy salmon inari was really good flavor! The only take away from it was the avocado… which was not avocado it was guacamole. Had it been just cubed avocado my friends and I probably would’ve liked it, but guac in inari is a no from me. Might come back to try the spicy salmon inari - the spicy salmon was a solid 8/10, but the spicy salmon AND avo? 4/10.
Service was good and the people were friendly and helpful, they offered to answer any questions. I wished they had ice because I wanted to try some drinks.
Overall MAY be back in the future if I want a quick grab and go, but likely won’t have the onigiri again.

This place is so good! Stopped by to grab a few, the spam & kimchi was one of my favorites. The inari is nice and tender and every topping I tried was tasty. this is the perfect place to pick up a cute lil lunch before you head to a picnic at land park or embark onto a road trip on 99.

The restaurant is quaint and located in a small strip with a good variety of restaurants, just a heads up parking will be difficult. I got the salmon inari, and both of the onigiris they offer. The inari has good flavors, the seasoning of the salmon pairs well with the sweetness of the inari. The onigiri however was a miss. They were too oily for my liking and fell apart very easily. Also I wasn't able to enjoy it until I got home about 20 minutes later, by the time I was able to enjoy them, they started having that texture of rice when it starts turning bad. Staff was nice, quick in and out service.

This was such a great experience! I love the idea of a shop with a quick bite to eat. I would have loved to dine here, but the place is really small and it can get packed really quick. The servers are so nice and informative. I wanted to try everything they served, but there was too many options to choose from, I got mainly salmon and unagi products. My all time favorites were the Unagi inari, Ahi Tuna inari, and spicy salmon inari (needs soy sauce)! I usually love salmon and cream cheese, but the salmon and cream cheese onigiri wasn't for me. It wasn't bad or anything, I just think that the other foods tasted so much better, lol. And you can never go wrong with an unagi musubi. I'll definitely be back for more!
