RICK’S DESSERT DINER IS ONE OF MY NEW FAVORITE’S!!! THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME VISITING, & AND DEFINITELY WON’T BE MY LAST!!! THE CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CAKE WAS DELICIOUS AND FRESH!!! THE CAFE MOCHA BLANC WAS PERFECT!!! THE MANGO PEACH REFRESHER WAS PERFECT AS WELL!!! THE ATMOSPHERE WAS AWESOME WITH 50’S MUSIC PLAYING! THEY EVEN HAVE A JUKEBOX! TOO AWESOME! LOVED THE MARILYN MONROE AND ELVIS PRESLEY PICTURES ON THE WALL! LOVED THEM!!! THEY EVEN HAVE OUTDOOR SEATING! I FOUND THIS DINER ON GOOGLE MAPS! SO HAPPY I TOOK A CHANCE AND WENT TO GO VISIT!!! THE STAFF IS NICE AND FRIENDLY! SERVICE IS FAST, THE FACILITY IS CLEAN! SIMPLY AMAZING!!! 🤍👏🏽🤍🫶🏽🤍🥰

This place has a lot of 5 star reviews but I personally didn’t enjoy the cupcake I got at all. It had such an odd taste to it, and for $7 I expected it to be way better. I would not recommend this place for any kind of baked goods at all.

You have to go there especially for the setting, 50s atmosphere. Friendly welcome. Cakes are a little more.... complicated (I'm so French...)

Amazing atmosphere. Cool people serving up the food. Great service and a very uniquely 80’s vibe.
Unfortunately thumbs down for the desserts… It’s possible we hit them on an off day, but we ordered several slices of their specialty cakes and each one tasted like a homemade cake that your mom baked a week ago and let sit in the refrigerator. You could tell they were good at one point, but to say they were stale-ish is putting it lightly. The cake was so dry I had to drink water to get it down. I am no talented baker, but the Betty Crocker mix in my pantry makes a cake 10x better. The frosting was good but a bit overbearing. For nearly $10 a slice I was hoping for something majestic and, here it is…moist…not dry and sad.
Overall, it was my first time here and perhaps I will give it one more shot on another day. I would love for them to be good because it’s such a cool spot with great staff. Will update my review if it’s different!

I really loved it going there. But that changed Today!!! I was there and I was shocked! The bathroom was soooooooo dirty! It was disgusting ! It looked like they don’t cleaned it for month !!!!! As the saying goes: look at the bathroom and you'll know what the kitchen looks like !??!!!! I will never go back there!!! , I felt me food poisoned just from seeing that
Delicious desserts! Quite busy on the weekends but definitely worth the wait!

We got two pieces of cake. They were both good just not a moist as I usually like. We also got a macaroon and a cookie which were both yummy. The atmosphere was super cool!! Friendly staff. Fun neighborhood.

What they advertise vs what you get, it wasn't even cold, it was room temperature and falling apart.

I get black forest cake every year for my birthday. And it's pretty difficult to find it. But I heard about this place, and Lord behold they had it! It was big, and beautiful! The slice they gave me was a very nice size piece of cake as well. We couldn't choose just one flavor, so we got extras to take home. My husband got the carrot cake. Daughter had a really really good chocolate cake. (Reminded me Matilda) and I had to grab a slice of the strawberry shortcake. When I saw it, it had a jiggle and it made me giggle. IT was SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!

Made a stop here since my daughter needed to use the restroom while we were visiting the gaming shop across the street. There was one large family ahead of us to order. We got a double scoop of ice cream and a milkshake. After waiting like 10 mins we got the ice cream. I expected a long wait since the family before us ordered a lot. but for some reason we did not get the milkshake. People behind us in line were getting their orders so it was only when I said something that they started to make the milkshake. We waited another 15-20 mins. Not sure how this got missed.
