ALWAYS the absolute best dining experience!! You have no idea how sad I am this establishment is closing. Breaks my heart!!! Thank you for years of extraordinary service, fabulous meals & memorable celebrations!! Wishing all the staff who helped make that happen the very best ♥️

Our waiter Jarrod was great. Made some recommendations since it had been a while since we had been there. Our meal was great. Didn't catch the bartender's name but he made one of the best espresso martinis my hubby has ever had.

Smartly

We were seated 25 minutes after our reservation time, despite arriving a little early. We were brought water fairly quickly, but waited a very long time to see our server. When she eventually arrived at our table, she said that she was also running the bar and was consequently quite busy. After taking our orders, we only saw her again when our bill was delivered. Food and drinks arrived via other restaurant staff. The inattentive service helped me contextualize our late seating, as dinner was probably also taking longer than normal for other patrons, slowing the whole system down. Everyone was nice enough, but just tardy and inattentive.

The Red Crab and Shrimp Louie was way off. The shrimp tasted like it had been in the refrigerator too long and not covered so it tasted like everything in the refrigerator … awful. The Avocado On Foccacia vegan sandwich and the mimosas were good.

Really first rate, though I can only vouch for the fish tacos, which were excellent, with crispy, flaky battered cod and a wonderful sauce. Service was excellent. A bit overpriced but most restaurants feel that way these days, and very worth it if you're hungry.

Parking: Located in Old Sac, so you have to find parking outside the district then walk in, for the most part. Very limited street parking in Old Sac itself.

This is my wife and I's favorite restaurant in all of Sacramento. They have an incredible menu with a giant steak and salmon but I can never bring myself to order anything else but the burger. They serve the best burger in all of Sacramento, but I do really miss their truffle fries. This place is always our default if we can't think of any other place for date night so we go here a lot. The staff is beyond incredible, and the food speaks for itself. We absolutely love this place.

Decided I'd make a reservation here for 7:30 on a friday night to celebrate my recent promotion, but more importantly to celebrate my gfs ability to walk after a spinal Injury. We arrived on time and were seated immediately. We had to walk very far in 90 degrees weather so we were hot and a bit sweaty. I was just proud of my gf for doing her best. After we sat down nobody approached us for water or starters. 10 min later a family walked in an was seated. Their drink orders were taken almost immediately. I kept looking over at the lady who approached them, but she just kept looking away...weird. I just want to mention that by no means were they at capacity or even very busy. There were full booths and tables open. After waiting 20 plus minutes with no service we left pretty upset. My gf was crying on the ferris wheel. I just feel bad. This was her first time getting to go out with me and she spent all day preparing and making sure her back was OK. Won't be coming here again. 20 plus minutes with no water after a half mile walk in the heat. If it was busy or if we were seated in a corner then we would have let it slide. We were in the middle of the restaurant and it was not busy at all. I didn't really see and poc In there, but when I mentioned what happened to the street performer outside he said that it's common for poc to have bad service there and that I should have went to Joe's crab shack.... I love Joe's lol, next time I won't make that mistake.

Honestly, the food was mid and service was poor. Out of a party of 5 I think 2 people liked the food enough to eat it all enthusiasticaly. The cheese bread is amazing, as all the other reviews say, but the salmon tasted so bland it almost had no flavor. And even the burgers were bland. Waiter talked me out of buying drinks, never asked if the rest of the party wanted any, and never asked once how we were though he asked the table next to us. He refilled water though.
Beautiful view though, brought family from our of town so that was the only good part. Would never go again because it's not worth the price though.

My maps said it was closed down temporarily. Real bummer...

Service is great and we didn't have to wait long for food and drinks. They said they no longer offer patio seating so that's a disappointment. American Wagyu burger wasn't cooked medium like I asked and tasted like it had been frozen. Veggie frittata was good but bland and needed hot sauce. Good views but no more bottomless mimosas

I ordered the fish and chips. Coleslaw was bland and tasteless. One piece of my fish didn't seem cooked all the way. Will not be returning. Yuk!

Great food and quality atmosphere as well as excellent service. We ordered poke nachos, chicken sandwich and crab melt. Lemon drop for drinks.
