Way overpriced, mediocre Mexican food at best. You are far better off going to a stand on the side of the road for half the cost.

The service here is just horrible. We waited for more than 30 minutes, and still no food or chips and salsa. The restaurant wasn't even busy. When we finally got the food, it was mediocre at best.

First time trying this place and LOVED it. The carne asada was seasoned to perfection. Not too many places like this one. Drove 20 minutes and I’ll do it again. The staff was very friendly as well. 😊

I only had hard shell shredded beef tacos. They were very good. Red Chile was spicy and had a good flavor. I'll go back to try other menu items. I do want to try their weekend brunch with bottomless mimosas.

Absolutely amazing taco buffet. Incredibly reasonable proces for the amazing quality of food you get, and the selection of different taco fillings is out of this world. I can't wait to come back for their brunch, apparently it has *way* more options!
Good food. Friendly staff. Will recommend
I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. The server was unhelpful, offering no greeting or farewell, which set the tone for my visit. I ordered a cheese enchilada with beans and rice, but they used a flour tortilla—definitely not my preference. As it was a to-go order, I felt stuck with something I didn't enjoy.
To top it off, the food presentation was lackluster, with the red sauce spilling over in the bag, making a mess in my car due to a small hole. On the brighter side, the restaurant itself was clean and quiet, with only one other table occupied. However, the parking situation left much to be desired. The shopping center had several shops, but there were not enough parking spaces to accommodate them.
Overall, I didn’t find anything special about the place, and I likely wouldn’t return given that the average cost is around $30 per person.
Dude at the front didn't want to make this business any money acted like someone just stole his dog or something. Food was edible, wouldn't come back.
Roberta's catered my best friend's 50th birthday party and the food was insanely good! Highly recommended!

We ate here for the first time tonight and had a really fantastic experience! We ordered take out and the food was made fresh and with lots of good salsas to go! We ordered mole enchiladas, camarones a la diabla, and a homemade fried taco-like item. All of it was so so good and we will be coming back for sure. Looking forward to trying their brunch buffet too!

The search for great Mexican cuisine in Sacramento led me to Roberta's cocina. The restaurant was recommended by a couple we met at a local dig.
We were not disappointed. Just a small family owned restaurant. The menu is quite extensive.
On this day I ordered the al mojo de ajo Camarones (garlic shrimp). The shrimp were moist and juicy, not overcooked. The sauce tasted like butter, mixed with sliced chilli peppers and garlic slices. They accented the shrimp perfectly. There was a small salad with avocado, lettuce and tomatoes, to be used with the flour tortillas I ordered (corn tortillas are also offered). Mexican rice was also moist and fluffy. The beans were creamy and not lumpy. All was delicious. I also ordered two chico (small) tacos. Al pastor and the other carnitas. They were served Todo (with everything). Salsa, onions, and cilantro. The meat was tender. The carnitas in particular were moist and crunchy with just enough salt seasoning for me.
A great place to stop for lunch. They also offer a weekend brunch buffet
Weekend brunch time. Bring your appetite mojo with you. Very nice variety of dishes, fajitas, chilli relleno, chilli Colorado, chilli Verde, bacon @ sausage, chorizo and carnitas, three types of soups, menudo, abogondas, pozole, salad bar, custom egg omelets or other styles, freshly made corn or flour tortillas, drinks offered, Mexican style coffee with cinnamon, horchata and hibiscus juice. Flan and Mexican style gelatin for dessert. Yum. So much food to choose from.
