This place was amazing. The best club sandwich I’ve ever had. My partner got the chicken fried steak and eggs and we were both so impressed. We shared a slice of French toast and it melted in our mouths. The food quality was top notch. Even the to go box was quality and not plastic. The music was just the right volume to enjoy and still have a conversation. The art and murals were incredible. I can tell that this place was very intentional with everything that they do. It was absolutely delicious with a full bar. I am very picky and not easy to please when it comes to food and this place blew my mind. I can’t wait to go back.

My family was in Sacramento one night travelling and were searching for somewhere to eat. We saw this place’s stunning designs and realized it was too cool to pass up.
We were greeted extremely warmly by the staff; it’s rare that you go into a new restaurant and the staff is genuinely happy to see you there.
Their menu had many creative offerings as well as standout deals. One highlight was elevated clubhouse-like all-day breakfast and equally well-designed vegetarian and vegan options. The $5 jungle juice special was delicious and more than generous for our party.
Overall, the staff imbued a sense of place, where they knew what they as a team were about. They made the restaurant the welcoming, inviting, and impressive experience a restaurant creator hopes for.
I wish I lived close enough to visit regularly and share this treasure with my friends, but I am hoping some of you see this and do yourself the favor of checking it out for yourselves. 😊 ✨ 🌠

A really cool spot and slowly becoming a sac staple. The club sandwich is the best sandwich I've ever had, my go to, and the fries always come hit even if doordashed.
On 8/9/25, a friend and I had breakfast at Roc & Sol Diner. While we were pleased with our meal, we were dissatisfied with the service. On our table, there was a flyer advertising that patrons could download the Roc & Sol app, iPhones and Android users, and save $5 on their meal. In an effort to take advantage of the discount, my friend and I attempted to download the application. I, an iPhone user, was successful in downloading the app, but my friend, an Android user, was unsuccessful. We expressed the issue to the server and she took the issue to management. The manager came to our table and proceeded to give us a lengthy explanation about the problems that their business was having with Android. We pointed out that the flyer clearly stated that the discount applied to Android users. If the restaurant was aware that there was a problem, the flyers should have been removed the tables. I then asked if she would still honor the discount because it was not my friend’s fault that the download would not work. She vehemently refused to honor the discount for my friend. Given that I was able to download the application, she stated that would give us the discount we needed because it is $5 off per table. Again, another issue with the promotion. Nowhere on the advertisement did it state $5 off per table. We were under the impression that we would get $5 off per person who downloaded the application. In short, the manager was unhelpful and she did not handle the matter in a professional manner. It is my hope that the diner has since removed the flyers from the tables. I will not be returning to the restaurant and I do not recommend patronizing Roc & Sol Diner.

I wish I could give this place more stars. Our server was so polite and attentive. Our food was absolutely delicious. The menu was very diverse there was something for each of us, including all 6 of our picky kids. Everyone left very full and happy. We loved the music, the atmosphere and the art.

Bland, over priced food. My wife ordered the prime rib special. I had chicken fried steak with sausage gravy. Steak and hashbrowns were cooked way too crunchy and had no flavor. Came with very little gravy which was fine because it was also flavorless. My wife's dinner followed suit. Little to no flavor. She asked for a bit more gravy and they charged us $2 for literally a shot size serving. On the positive side, the $16 bloody mary was marvelous. As to the atmosphere, it's a very interesting place. Great art everywhere. The lighting made our food look odd, but the place has a wonderful look over-all.

Oh Wow! When pulling into the parking lot, you would be amazed at the mural drawings on the building. When entering there are murals on the walls on the inside as well including the bathroom, by the way which, were clean. Our server Debbie was by far one of the best I've encountered in a while. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, two orders of the Joes Special and the Vegetable Scramble with a side order of Sausage Links. The food was served heat hot, seasoned to perfection. Mmmm good.
