Great chocolate
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a wonderful place for any chocolate lover! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the rich aroma of freshly made nougat—it was absolutely delightful.
The variety of treats is impressive, with something for every taste. We ordered an almond caramel apple, which was incredibly fresh and delicious, as well as chocolate-dipped strawberries that happened to be on sale—both were fantastic! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.
Everything was carefully wrapped, and they even provided a paper plate, fork, and napkins for convenience. Excellent service and delicious treats—keep up the great work!
Delicious cakes. The assortment is large. Sooo delicious, something for every taste.

Superb and impeccably clean operation in continuous operation for decades. They absolutely treat you like family that actually wants you around. Their quality is consistent, their service leaves nothing to be desired and their selection is so vast you can always get something you crave and try something new as well and never run out of options. The location is great for whether you're arriving at Old Town or departing. The jelly bars that look like twix are my favorite.

Awesome chocolates and the apples are the best! Apple Pie is my favorite. We also love the chocolate covered toffee. Service is always friendly and helpful.
We haven't been to Old Sac in a long time and decided to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. When I saw Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory I had to go in and buy some of their amazing fudge. Not only did we get fudge, we also got their delicious caramel apples, and an assortment of chocolates and apples in a gift box for some friends. The prices were so reasonable and the treats were perfect. The staff was very knowledgeable and the store is period perfect for Old Sac.We will definitely be back and buy more of their heavenly treats.

I LOVE the chocolate and apples at this RMCF location! Soooo good!! It is hard to say what are my favorites, but I do love the chocolate covered toffee and the Apple Pie flavored apples. Despite always being busy, the staff always have a smile and provide great service.

I was so excited to see a Rocky mountain chocolate factory in my area. But my excitement dissolved after I got home and realized we were sold an extra apple that we didn’t ask for. Aside from the low quality apples that is at no fault of the shop, the woman helping us was constantly looking out the windows and only half paying attention to what we were chatting about. Very disappointed in my extra apple that wasn’t even a caramel apple. Who wants a cinnamon candied apple? I definitely do not, and would never have said yes to cinnamon if I knew it was going to be that. I threw it away immediately. I would rather drive back to Monterey than ever go back to Sacramento for a second experience.

Just left there and the customer service was not good. The lady behind the counter had an attitude and was rude. I hope race was not a factor. The asian lady's that was in line before I was received service with a smile.
