The drinks and macarons are actually pretty good in my opinion, the only reason why I’ve gone back. However, I’m big on costumer service, and the last couple of times I’ve been there, their customer service always disappoints. The girls who have helped me seem like they don’t want to be there. Maybe it’s just been my experience.

My friend had that coffee with an egg. I hate coffee and I hate eggs, but she said it was delicious! I had one of the tiramisu macarons and it was so rich! Everything a great desert should be. It was my lunch and it kept me full till dinner.

This place is good if you’re local to the area. We drove a bit to get to the location, we wouldn’t go out of the way to return but if we were in the area they have a nice matcha. As you can see the Vietnamese coffee wasn’t full, not sure if it was a prepackaged drink bc there were no subs for milk options. The tiramisu was surprisingly good.

The quiet & homey atmosphere makes for a great place to chill with friends or alone, workers are nice, macaroons were heavenly(i recommend the tiramisu ones)) as for the drinks, id say that the passion fruit iced tea is... Not for me (but the peach iced tea is amazing) +free parking spaces and wheelchair accessible (++bathrooms)
Strawberry matchas just tastes like milk and strawberry pudding at the bottom. The cafe was warm inside feels like the ac wasn’t on.

Drinks were fine, but macarons are overpriced at 3.50 for one. Their AC seems to not be working and they had just one fan going. It was extremely hot and my friend and I were melting in the heat.

Months ago my wife and I visited an establishment in Downtown Sacramento with some friends and purchased some delicious macarons. My wife is not a fan of sweets, so it was a big deal that she loved the macarons. Following this experience, I made a note that I would purchase macarons for her next birthday. Fast forward to her birthday, I did a quick Yelp search and found Rooftop Macarons (with dang near perfect reviews) located a little over 10 minutes away from my home.
When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly employee behind the counter. Since I’m not a macaron connoisseur, I asked the employee about her personal favorite flavors. Based on her recommendations, I ordered 12 macarons consisting of the following flavors: Birthday Cake (3), Blueberry Cheesecake, Fruity Pebbles (2), Girl Scout (3), Raspberry, Salted Caramel, and Vanilla Bean. After paying, I waited for five minutes and another employee (who I assume may have been the owner), emerged from the backroom to present me with the 12 macarons in a cute box (I’m a sucker for [presentation packaging).
My wife’s face lit up when she saw the macarons and she thoroughly enjoyed the flavors that I selected (of course my son and I made sure that she shared some of the goodness with us)… my personal favorites were “Birthday Cake” and “Girl Scout.” As a tip – I suggest consuming these the day after purchase, for whatever reason they seemed to taste even better. If you have the desire to satisfy your sweet tooth, I highly recommend visiting Rooftop Macarons!
