Our visit to Roosters Restaurant for brunch will forever be etched in our memories as one of the most disappointing and distressing dining experiences of our lives. Stepping into the restaurant at 1pm, we held onto hope for a pleasant meal despite the already ominous signs. The first blow came with the iced coffee, a watery, milky concoction that tasted more like disappointment than caffeine. It set the stage for what would become an unrelenting cascade of culinary catastrophes. The Monte Cristo, touted as a brunch classic, arrived at our table devoid of any semblance of flavor or finesse. Cold ham and turkey sandwiched between lackluster French toast, accompanied by hash browns that seemed to have been cooked with indifference rather than care. It was a dish that screamed mediocrity at every bite, a far cry from the culinary delight we had anticipated. The only glimmer of hope came from our children's enjoyment of the chicken and waffles, but even their innocent joy couldn't mask the overwhelming disappointment that permeated the air.As we waited an agonizing eternity for our orders to arrive, the minutes stretched into an eternity of longing and frustration. The burger, promised as a beacon of hope amidst the culinary wreckage, only served to prolong our suffering as it languished in the kitchen, seemingly forgotten by the staff. To compound our misery, both my daughter and I suffered from severe gastrointestinal distress after the meal. Witnessing her young frame wracked with nausea and discomfort was a heart-wrenching experience that no parent should ever endure. And as I too fell ill upon returning home, the bitter taste of regret mingled with the acrid bile rising in my throat.I implore you, dear reader, heed my warning and spare yourself the anguish of dining at Roosters Restaurant. Our harrowing experience serves as a cautionary tale, a testament to the perils of misplaced trust and dashed expectations.Roosters, you have shattered our faith in the power of a good meal to bring joy and comfort. Your failures have left scars that may never fully heal. And though I may never again darken your doorstep, I will carry the memory of this disastrous brunch with me as a reminder to always trust my instincts and never settle for anything less than excellence.Unless your sole purpose is to enjoy mimosas, I advise you to dine elsewhere, especially if you have kids.

Unfortunately I didn’t really liked the food and the Service was not good either. Normally I don’t mind tipping, but the fact that they already had it automatic without notifying us about it it’s absurd especially since the service was not the best and the amount of tip they took was $46 just a FYI if you go in with a small group of friends they don’t want to split the tab. Everything will be in one.

Had breakfast here with the family. No complaints, but it wasn't stand-out either. Food was okay, a little bland, but nothing jumped out as bad. For the price, there are better options around. However, I wouldn't turn it down if a friend invited me to join them. Service was great, the outdoor seating was decent. Not a bad experience, but not a memorable one.

Good portions, food tastes good, coffee came fast, prices were reasonable, bathrooms were clean. Can’t ask more of a diner. This place is worth your money.

Mango mimosa with chamoy/tajin rim-delicious! We had: chilequiles, eggs Benedict , kids pancake and Frenchtoast. Everything including the coffee was delicious! Service was very friendly albeit a little slow since it was so busy! Definitely a worthwhile stop in Sacramento.

We had a fantastic visit to Roosters. We had a large party of 8 and we were seated quickly. The drinks are very tasty. They have a wide selection of mimosas and specialty drinks. The food was also delicious with large portions worth the price! We will be back!

This place is always a blast, and has the best mimosa menu in town. I usually get the steak skillet, and I recommend ordering it with extra jalapeños. For a milestone birthday my husband treated me and some our friends to brunch including the very tasty Margarita Tree. There is frequently live music here on holidays and for special events. If you're looking for great food, friendly staff, and fun atmosphere, try Roosters as your next brunch spot.Vegetarian options: My husband loved the veggie omelet. He was pleased it was filled with more than the usual onions and tomatoes. He said the fresh zucchini and big sliced avocado on top were really delicious.Dietary restrictions: Lots of side options make it easy to adapt a lot of dishes to individual needs and preferences.Parking: There is plenty of parking lot spaces as well as nearby street parking. Roosters is also very walkable for River Park residents.Kid-friendliness: There are a lot of classic breakfast options including pancakes, French toast, and different egg option. It's very easy to split a combo between two little ones.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat and there is plenty of clearance for a wheelchair. The restroom is fine for a conventional wheelchair, but might be tough for a motorized one.

Rooster’s is a great brunch spot! Atmosphere is lively and it’s a fun spot to come with your friends for mimosas on the outdoor patio. I absolutely love their benedict options (try the sopes or the divorciados!) We have also tried every giant mimosa flavor on the menu; they’re delicious, reasonably-priced and a fun time for the whole table (I recommend at least 3 people for the giant mimosa or if it’s just the two of you…. you might want to walk there ?) We also love their chicken-fried steak and their breakfast burrito! Portions are well worth the price point and service is always quick and friendly. There’s sometimes a wait (20-30 mins max) for Sunday brunch but they do have bar seating. 10/10 we love Rooster’s and can’t wait to go back!Parking: if you can’t find parking out front, go around the shopping mall and there’s a huge empty lot in the back.

Service was not good at all. Don't know if it was just the server we had but she sucked. And the food came out cold and took about an hour to come out from when we sat down. Don't recommend.

I would say between 3 and 4 stars, and after reading the review, I'll let you be the judge. One of my concerns was partially my fault, so it is what it is. Firstly, the French toast was really good. French toast is fairly simplistic, but numerous places get it wrong. My wife enjoyed her omelet, but wished her Hash browns were crispier, but overall, she was satisfied. P.S. The French toast was a shared order. Now, onto my order... I ordered the crab cake Benedict. One bite into it I knew I ordered wrong. I have an onion allergy...and the crab cake was littered with crunchy, raw/undercooked onions. I apologized, and asked for the salmon Benedict as a replacement. My fault, and appreciative of the service. After awhile, a grilled salmon plate was delivered. The waitress, at first, seemed less understanding when I pointed out she misheard me (my wife is HONEST, brutally so at times, but she told me she heard me say smoked salmon benedict.) It eventually arrived....with overly cooked poached eggs.....basically, hardboiled. Sorry to sound like a male Karen, and I'll take some of the blame, but left disappointed after looking forward to my birthday brunch
