It was a request from a friend for her BD lunch. I had no idea it was the old La Estrella building with new ownership and total beautiful revamp. Food was amazing. The only thing I would have preferred whole pinto or refried beans instead of a puree. Food was reasonably priced. It was the bottle of mimosas that added up. I will definitely be back!!! Flavors were incredible!
Don't let the strip mall fool ya. Rosa Madera is a visual experience and as soon as you walk into the restaurant you are surrounded by a lively and festive space filled with art and atmosphere.
The food was amazing. The best enchilada verdes I have had in Sacramento. The sauce packed heat, was bright nuanced, and the plating was as much of a feast as the flavor.

Amazing atmosphere and food. Service was top-notch. Minus the 2 hour wait, we will be back.
We went as a group of 8 and not a beat was missed. When the food, service and atmosphere are spot on, the wait is no issue.
