Was not able to take photos. Excellent foodies. Gourmet sandwiches. Has a little convenience shopping inside. Outdoor seating. Huge BBQ pit. You won't be disappointed! It's a small walk-to restaurant.

Ordered the brisket sandwhich on french roll. Flavor was good but bread to meat ratio was a disappointment.

We ordered a pastrami sandwich with everything. This is a big sandwich with fresh ingredients. Next time, I'm ordering the brisket.Parking: Parking is along the streets.Kid-friendliness: Gated area so kids don't run in the streets.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide area for wheelchairs.

My experience was just to buy alcohol, not their sandwiches, and found that their beer prices were higher than average—35% more, to be exact compared to other places. For two 12-packs, the total came close to $55, and to top it off, the payment prompt even asked for a tip.. The staff mentioned that the owner prefers not to focus on alcohol sales to avoid becoming that type of store, yet it feels like they are exploiting customers with their pricing strategy. Their food offerings seem to receive decent reviews, but my overall experience, particularly with the beer purchase, left much to be desired. I don’t think anyone particularly cares to read this of the establishment but their sandwiches are over priced as well for mediocre ingredients and dry outdated bread, which is why it’s drenched in BBQ sauce from their customer images.

Really freaking good sandwiches. There can be a crazy line during the week so I try and come first thing on the weekend. The breakfast sandwiches are spot on and totally delicious. The meatball sandwiches also are legendary. Check this place out or don’t that way you’re not in line in front of me when I’m trying to order!

The sandwiches are decent here but the meat is over smoked and a bit dry. The Sandwhich also had very little meat on it and was dry overall which wasn’t great since it was expensive. There are definitely better bbq spots in Sacramento.

I ordered togo . I was expecting my sandwich well seasoned drenched in bbq sauce. The bbq was dry, min sauce and wasn't shredded. It's kinda going down from what I remembered.

1st time here.. Definitely not the last. The tri tip sandwich leaves nothing to chance. It's deliciousness in every bite. Staff is exceptional. Quick to help with a suggestion, a smile , or a quick witty joke to make you laugh. Can't wait to go back and try the brisket.. mouth already

Nice general store with good variety, and an *amazing* sandwich team; friendly faces and humor plus a really good sandwich (smoked pulled pork with jalapenos among other toppings) made this visit a memorable one. Certainly worth a visit or catering!Parking: I was lucky to be a UC Davis patient driver to use their parking across the street, but this place is fairly busy a little bit after midday, so you might have a walk ahead of you to access it, or drop and go for a passenger off the main road.

The very first bite took me on a journey back in time. I grew up in San Francisco and spent many Saturday afternoons at the Roxie’s deli down the street from Balboa Park. Living in Sacramento I routinely pass on suggestions from locals due to being let down more often than not. I had heard about this place but before today never had the opportunity to visit. Upon entering the store, even the set up reminded me of the Roxie’s I had grown up on. It was by far the best sandwich I’ve had since moving to Sacramento. I will gladly make this my new go to for sandwiches. The soda selection is outstanding as well. I rarely drink sodas but they have the frostie cherry lime as well as sprecher orange dream soda. Looking forward to trying the meatballs as I know that’s a classic as well. Thank you for bringing me back in time today. Highly recommend this spot for anyone familiar with the SF location.
