Ruth's Chris Steak House

Service was outstanding food was great and waiter patient and very informative about the menu and drinks.

Disappointing. We hadn't been to Ruth's Chris in at least 10 years and have never been to the one in Sacramento, so I don't know if it's that all of them have gone downhill or it was just this location. The Ruth's Chris in Pasadena, CA was always exquisite. Amazing service and food and upscale ambiance. A real treat. Sacramento's decor was boring and sadly outdated. Menus were falling apart and had frayed edges. The bar area was just as boring, tired and outdated. Even the toilet seat in the ladies room was off kilter and slid halfway off the bowl. This is just management not caring to invest in the upkeep. The food ranged from excellent (butternut squash side, French onion soup, cowboy ribeye) to meh (rack of lamb, creamed spinach) to disappointing (au gratin potatoes, bread and butter). In the other hand, service was still very nice and attentive, from the bar, to the host, to the servers. Still, that wasn't enough to make it worth a $350 tab! I didn't even have a drink! We went out of our way to dine there for our anniversary while on a long road trip. I wish we had chosen someplace else for our special night. I hope not all Ruth's Chris restaurants have fallen to this level, but this experience has made me very wary about wasting another special occasion on them.

Booked a reservation here for my girlfriends birthday and they did not disappoint! We had a perfect table awaiting us with confetti spread all over. Our waiter was super attentive, had a great positive attitude, and had great recommendations for our first time. I wish I was better with names so I could've given him a personal shoutout. Food was a 10/10 and reasonably priced. Thank you Ruth Chris for an awesome night and we will definitely be back!

Also love the bar and the prices were good and the appetizer selection was excellent The staff in the restaurant was very good. The baked potato was excellent - steak was good but not great - the Caesar salad was good. I love the Parmesan cheese but not authentic Caesar. The onion soup was the best ever ! Overall, we had a wonderful night. Love the atmosphere and the decorations. We Will be back. ‼️

My wife and 2 daughters were all praises with the steaks, services and overall experience at Ruth's Chris Steak House. We will be back

It was a Birthday Celebration and they did a special service to decorate the table and have her menu decorated with Happy Birthday!! Diana was wonderful as always very attentive from start to finish. Thank You for a Great Birthday

Our server, Andrea, was efficient and helpful as it was our first time visiting this restaurant. She made it very special for us. The food was great and the mini cheesecake was delicious. We had a good experience.
