Very good oysters. Prolly best in the area. We also had calamari, garlic fries, frog legs, and chicken wings. If I were rating oysters only, I'd give 5 stars. The calamari was OK as was rest of cooked food. The menu does look pretty neat and I'd like to try other options too.Maybe next time I will try the hot pot. I bet it's pretty good.Service was fantastic. Place is clean and open. Not cozy or anything, but kinda generic. I wouldn't go for the ambience, but I go here every time I'm in the area because the oysters are so good.

My aunt and I went in remembrance of my grandfather who recently passed. We took a picture of him with us. We honestly thought we would get weird looks. Instead the waitress seemed to understand without hesitation what we were doing. She immediately brought 3 eat waters to the table as a symbol that she understood he was there in spirit. She was very kind and gracious. The oysters are amazing!!! My grandfather loved eating oysters. It was a tradition of ours!!.

The that hotpot had a great flavor soup base. The shrimps were fresh but the lobster tail was very small. The seafood dishes were still a bit fishy. The snails had unknown green squishy content which was off putting.

This is a really great seafood place in Sacramento! I was glad my wife found this place. I was skeptical since I wasn't a big seafood fan, but came out loving everything we ordered. I'm in love with their seafood dipping sauce. Overall, great place for seafood and would love to come back when we're in town again!

1/1/2024Happy NEW Year!! We decided we wanted to have yet again another seafood for our family NY dinner today! Looks like a good size restaurant inside with ample seating. They have a small parking lot.We arrived around 5:30 for dinner for 5, seated fairly quickly. We ordered a bunch of different items to try and assumed service would bring things out according to type (light to heavy). The order of items arriving was challenging as we were seated a table for 6 so there wasn't enough room for every thing ordered. Water with lemon arrived shortly after seating followed by the hot pot set up (burner, bowls, plates, utensils)Steamed obtuse horn shell in coconut milk (oc Len xao Dua) - on the sweet side served warmGrilled Razor clams with green onions (oc mong tay) - chewy and ours served room temp vs hot.Mango salad- this was pretty good. Would be better if this came out first vs 3rd item. Soda for the kids arrived. Dungeness Crab salt/pepper - this was really small. Cut into 4 pieces and was extremely salty. My lychee martini arrived. This was a solid beverage. I could have had another but paced myself. Lau Hai San (seafood hotpot) came and took up half the table. My son's 12oz ribeye medium came out - a tad on the chewy side but flavored well. Side of fries or rice and he chose fries. Fries were skinny and crispy and served hot. We had to remind them twice about our bowl of rice. We ordered everything above at the same time.Once we were mid way through, we added more dishes and another bowl of rice.Steamed whelk in lemongrass & coconut water ( oc huong hap xa) - texture was better than the razor clam.Garlic fries - good texture and seasoned well Butter chicken wings - my son said it wasn't bad, could be a little crispier. The staff is friendly when you have their attention. Overall service could be better. They weren't super busy, had a few tables filled. We had to ask for beverage refills. They aren't as attentive to clean plates to help "make room" for new dishes arriving. I dropped my chopsticks and had to walk up the team to get another pair. We miss the Bay Area seafood houses and SoCals even more. This location is the closest to us these days to help satisfy seafood cravings but today was a miss. Hopefully they can do better next time! Cheers to more yummy filled eats in this new year! We are on the hunt! :)

Great foods and service! We were seated right away when we went in. Ordered a small size of Thai hotpot, grill razor clams, garlic razor clams, and grilled scallops.Seafood was fresh and sauce was excellent! Especially the razor clams and ordered another round of it. The grilled razor clams have some sprinkled fried garlic which brings out the flavor. The Thai hotpot had just enough spiciness and it had a really strong flavor of tomato. It was so yummy with the vermicelli noodle. Our waitress was super friendly and gave us recommendations when we were indecisive.

Came here for my grandma's birthday, and the food was pretty mid, especially for the price. They also got three orders of ours wrong, and we had to wait 20 minutes for them to correct it. Once our proper plates came out, the lamb was supposed to be medium well, but many were raw. The hot pot was kind of fun, and the cocktails were really good. I wouldn't come back, though.

What an amazing spot for some nhậu food. We came here right before the Kiana Lede and ordered a bunch of amazing dishes before we started our buzzballs. The workers are kind and work quick --They are patiently standing and watching over the patrons, not in a creepy way. They hurried to grab extra utensils, refilled our waters, etc. Most importantly, they were transparent about their oyster situation.Realistically, I don't know too much about the differences in oysters. We just placed whichever was the popular one. They came and told us the oysters had spoiled and to replace with another type. Honestly, I wouldn't have known the difference if they gave us the cheaper option and charged the higher price. So thank you for that.Food was tasty save the balut... --The coconut horn snails had amazing flavor. A balance of sweetness from the coconut with a bit of saltiness from the fish sauce, save the sliminess of some snails, it was a hit.The garlic noodles were so dry. I would pass on that if I came back. The razor clam were interesting! A lot chewier than I expected but nonetheless, was a fun first time experience. The scallop with quail eggs were among the top 2 dishes I tried. It had a bit of Thai seasoning, paired with the sauce was delicious. The balut in tamarind sauce was bold but it worked. Who would have thought of a caramelized balut... EXCEPT the duck too far along and it had a lot of feathers / bones. The flavor almost masked it, reminded of Thai wings.Overall, five star food and would love to come back to reserve one of the party rooms.

My wife and I stopped by on a whim. We were the only people in the restaurant at 5:30pm. We were seated right away and the server was very attentive and nice. The first thing we received was the Mojito cocktails. One was lychee and one was a regular mint. The bartender brought it over and was very attentive asking if we needed it to be adjusted. The drinks were on point so we didn’t need to make any changes.Next were the appetizers which was the HK octopus and sampler oysters. Very fresh and very tasty. Our entrees came after in a timely manner. The steak was cooked more than medium rare but was still very good and had a nice buttery crust. All in all this place was very good and would bring friends here in the future. The food and ambience were really good.
