First things first, this is one of my favorite places to get "bar food". It comes out quick, hot, and pretty tasty considering bar food typically can be pretty mediocre. The bartenders are funny and chatty if that's your vibe and they make some cute and tasty drinks!

The food looked amazing but lacked flavor. Even with pastrami on it. Probably due to the minimal amount of pastrami and sauce drizzled over the top. The service was great and the bartender was very friendly. He offered me to sample the beer before I chose it. The food came out quickly. The atmosphere was great. It was pretty quiet when I arrived but quickly got busy. I'd be will big to come back and try it again to see if any of the other food has better flavor. Otherwise I would have rated it five stars.

The Irish coffee was pretty good. The bar tender was respectful. I wish she had talked a bit more though.Didn't try much else.It was a welcoming feel for sure.

*Not a place to get cocktails.* Will not return. Gave me a Strawberry Collins that tasted terrible, something was off. Return the drink after 1 minute, still completely full, asked for something else, and they were stern on about charging me and not remaking the drink or offering a new one(this was the female bartender). What frustrated me the most was that the female bartender tasted my drink, said that it did taste "watery". If the drink was made wrong, why can't I have it remade or replaced. I don't get it. Her response was "well its a bar". This was so much hostility over a stupid drink. I wish never came to this place. It put a dimmer on my whole night having such a negative interaction over it. I gave up and paid for the replacement drink that the bartender awkwardly poured before having me agree to pay. So weird that they would try the drink, admit there was something wrong, backtrack that it could be melted ice even though it was a newly made drink, give me a replacement, then state that I have to pay for the new drink and not budge (did offered a 1$ off then didn't follow through but still charged me full price). So strange! Also, the male bartender(ponytail and goatee) who made my drink wiped his hands on his jacket and pants at least 5 times while making my drink and then touched my garnish.

For my opinion just ok, the coffee wasn't strong enoung, no need to compare the one in SF ?The place smell old.

I am truly obsessed with the Irish coffees here. And the cowboy man on the wall in a nice touch. There's always a lot going on on this corner so it's also a great place to people watch.

Had a fantastic customer service experience this afternoon with Ryan & Tia at Finnegan's. Ryan made the best fries and corned beef sandwich and Tia pulled a perfect lager. Relaxed ambience and good vibes Highly recommend.

Good for reasonable price meals and a drink. Very casual and football on tv. The only thing I didn't like that they let peddlers off the street in bugging customers to buy candy... not good!!! Could be a little cleaner but it was nice to not pay over 20 for a sandwich
Not a bad place to go really. However, not playing Irish music or even the like and hearing bad older rock music, slow slow old school love songs or Spanish music wasn’t an environment setter. I played Irish music on the touch tunes during my stay. The Irish coffee was stout and worth it. Especially to kick off a midafternoon day drinking walk around. The place didn’t have 2 of the 7 appetizers on the menu. I can see this place being fun and or having tons of potential. Just didn’t have either on my visit.

This is the Irish Bar to visit if you are planning on going to Old Town. Cool atmosphere, quick service, and a DARN good Irish Coffee. Atmosphere is fun and inviting, clean and engaging with lots to look at on the walls. Drinks were very good and had a wide variety of house specials.Definitely recommended for Old Sac area.
