We had a most delicious lunch here. The BBQ was divine, the Nihari amazing and the special naan sumptuous. The highlight of our meal was the Anda-Cholay (egg-chickpeas) which is a specialty of Lahore cuisine. We will definitely be back.

Everything was great except for there is no air conditioning inside the restaurant. In Sacramento in the summertime you have to have air conditioning. There is four ceiling fans but it feels like a blow dryer blowing hot air it's really not doing nothing. And then you have this other machine that's just blowing hot air as well that's plugged up. My family and I embarked on a day trip from the Bay Area to Sacramento during Ramadan and decided to stop by Shalimar for a to-go meal on our way back.
