Very good service; attentive waitress; very tasty food; fun people watching ambiance. The only downside was a very limited menu. One meat, one fish, one chicken, one pasta. That being said, our food was well prepared and flavorful.
Bait and Switch. They advertise in all of the Sacramento Broadway programs/playbills for the Sacramento Broadway at the SAFE Performing Arts Center and for the Sacramento Broadway Music Circus (on L St) at the UC Davis Pavilions (on H St). Yet, they do not honor their advertised special offering. 1) They took our reservations via OpenTable. 2) They accepted our notes in OpenTable. 3) We confirmed with them via text the day before our reservations. 4) They advertised in both the Broadway Sacramento programs/playbills (in the Broadway Sacramento & Broadway Music Circus) Dinner for Two $85. In both of these ads there is zero mention (even in their fine print) of it ONLY being for performances held at the Performing Arts Center. This is very misleading & not at all appreciated. This is a bait & switch! Plus, they did not reply to the direct messages we sent on Saturday; so now we place this out publicly as our review four days later. The Sheraton Hotel and the Public Market Bar does not care.
We have dined here as a group of 6 numerous times before a our Broadway show. I do not feel as if they are properly staffed for these evenings, as we are on a time schedule. Our reservation time is 5:30. Wait Staff is good, drinks take to long, Kitchen gets backed up as all our meals come out at different times. The Show Special Dinner is a great deal if you like the 2 options and Red/White Wine. Best Bargain, and this time we learned it would have included Valet Parking. We dined there 2 weeks prior and had not heard this. The deserts are delicious, but with the lag time in getting dinner served and receiving the dessert, let alone our bill... we race to get over to the Theater. The manager stopped by our table that night and explained the Valet, as well as how we would know the dinner options in Open Table - under Experiences. Next time I will remember this. But our next show is not until May.
Everything was great, the service was wonderful and attentive; Our server, Pru was fabulous. The ambiance was good. Our steaks were off by one level. I ordered the steak medium-rare and it came medium and my friend ordered her steak medium and it came medium-well to well. The dessert was delicious, flour less chocolate tort. The cabernet sauvignon was ok.
Monica was our server and she was wonderful! We will be back on February 22 and hope to have her as our server again. Food was great. We went to Hamilton and the names of our food matched the meaning of the broadway show we attended. I wish we had come to the Sheraton during our other broadway shows.
With parking prices going up, we decided to try this $75 meal deal. We LOVED that the meal was themed to the play that we were seeing ("Hamilton") with Sam Adams Braised Beef Short Rib and Boston Tea Party Cream Pie. The entree was beautifully plated. They must have run out of the dessert as we were served cheesecake instead. It was OK but would have been perfect with what we were expecting instead. House wine was good as well. Our waitress was especially attentive! Service was a bit slow but it was SUPER busy so not her fault. We arrived at 5:50 and left a little after 7; good timing to get to our seats. I highly recommend booking at 5:45 so you aren't stressing about missing your curtain time. We LOVE our date nights at the Broadway series. Adding this made the evening stellar! Will do this again!
This was a really convenient way to dine and park for the theater. Food was tasty. We chose the package that includes valet, 2 entrees, 2 desserts, and a bottle of wine. Would have liked to have had a little more menu flexibility, but overall it was a good experience and definitely a great value.
FYI they don't tell you that you need to dine in for happy hour 1/2 price. So I ordered 2 order of wings and got changed full price. I had to ask why I didn't get half off then he told me why. Plus the menu doesn't state that. I would of tip him but he didn't deserve it very bad service Go Else Were. Never even say hi like i didn't exist. He said about 15-20 min. It took 40 min. Everything he say is double. You only get 7 pieces of wings for $18. WARNING it's not wrong to warn people. Very disappointed ? Happy Hour became Unhappy Hour You've been Warned ⚠️

We saw the Dinner for Two for $60 advertised in a Broadway Sacramento playbill. The service was great, dinner was great. Our bill was for $81...not $60. The manager told us this ‘deal' was from last season. One hour later...the same ad was still running in the playbill. We were surprised and disappointed that the Sheraton did not honor their advertisement.

Well, the service was great and that's the only reason they got partial stars. We came for dinner before a show at the PAC and we were seated promptly, got out bottle of wine and we ordered an appetizer and that came out fine. But our dinner didn't, over an hour and finally the manager came over very apologetic. Somehow our order got lost and they were out of what we ordered so she couldn't even put a rush on it. She asked if we wanted anything else, but at this point we had to leave for our show or risk missing it. Our bottle of wine and appetizer were comped. So again, service was great, but I don't think I will return
Awesome customer service, from valet, manager Natalie, and server Patrick, I believe.. Food was good and service was excellent. Very close walk to the Performing arts center! We will be back!
I was really hoping for a better experience. We got seated promptly, and our server was very nice but service was very very slow. We had went for their dining experience which was two dinners, two desserts, and a bottle of wine for $60. Unfortunately, we did not know it was a set menu and you could not do any substitutions so we went ahead and ordered it. We received bread and butter at the beginning, and the bread was so hard it was like croutons lol The server went in the back to get some more, and he said that he tasted and felt all of the other ones and they were all that hard! The chicken which was the main course, was dry unfortunately. We did mention something to the server, and all he said was, I'm sorry. The one good thing was that we got free valet, parking.
We loved the Public Market Bar prior to seeing Six the Musical! The food was delicious and the restaurant in the Grand Sheraton was beautiful. I highly recommend the chips and French onion dip. My only complaint is that there are not enough gluten free options. The only clearly marked gluten free items were Appetizers and that is not enough.
