Disappointed it was so nasty and u can tell they don't use clean oil it was 0/10 stinks so bad inside of there l dont recommend coming here rude staff and the sauce is inside of a package and u have to pay extra for the tiny sauce only thing good here is the drinks ??

My catfish and greens were on the sodium heavy side. Food was a good portion for the price, hot & made to order, but oversalted. Cashier was nice, has good customer service. Nice staff and atmosphere. For my first time trying, I didnt expect the food to be so salty though.

We had planned to babysit for my very pregnant daughter so she could go out for Valentine's day before she has her baby. We stopped to grab a quick order of fried oysters. We arrived at 6:15. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for one order of 10 fried oysters. We should have just ask for our $23 back, and I tipped 20% in advance. We were one of two customers there when we arrived and the other couple had already ordered. It took over 10 minutes to even be asked to take our order. Then as other people started to come in everyone waited a very long time except for two men who came in and ordered beer and Mexican food, they were served before everyone else who'd been waiting. We'd been waiting 45 minutes by then. I should add, we also ordered one item from the adjoined Mexican restaurant. We ordered a cold seafood cocktail, and the two men were served their dine in hot food long before us. At 7:10 the first couple was served and at 7:30 we were served. We waited patiently and didn't raise a stink because the employee appeared to be a one person show. We were absolutely dumbfounded that at no point was any unsuspecting customer told it was currently over an hour wait when they ordered, nor was there ever a "thank you for your patience" and no apology for the inconvenience. We felt like we were being held against our will. I was so looking forward to this evening, both the oysters and spending time with our grandchild. We are so disappointed in the lack of communication to customers and complete disregard for people's valuable time. The owners and management should issue a statement to everyone who spent their evening on valentines day waiting around at their establishment.

I went and ordered the 6/6 chicken and fish family meal with three sides. They gave my wings to a DoorDash driver so I had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes for them to re-make them. They tried to make up for their mistake by giving me some rolls, greens and Mac & cheese which was nice of them and I appreciate their effort, but when I got home I found that the wings were NOT seasoned: just a BLAND as can be. This is not normal Skip's service and I hope they do better next time or there won't be another time after that.

It took a while for our food to come out, but that was my only issue. The food tasted amazing, and I highly recommend one of the loaded fries options. We were both impressed by the incredible taste.

I've only eaten here twice, but the food was delicious and generously portioned both times. It's a bit pricey, but everything is nowadays. I got 2 orders of the Wednesday wing special and paid $32.00. I have yet to try the fish. Otherwise, I definitely recommend ?.Vegetarian options: Certain side dishes are vegetarian. Such as macaroni and cheese, pickles, okra, coleslaw, etc.

Skips must've got a new owner everything was plain nothing taste the same and I ordered what I always do. Stingy with tartar sauce when it's packaged is crazy and now we have to buy lemons? Skip man where u at?

The Fish & Greens are my favorite ? but tonight when my husband got home with our food. My Greens were over salted or something and I am very unhappy ?When this happens, it makes me not want to come back.

The food was fresh and hot upon pick-up order. Online platform for pickup orders were quick and easy to use. It was better than going in as it usually takes 20 to 30 minutes if you go in.The cost was okay, but what was disappointing was how they literally cut one filet to make 2 pieces. The fish was overly salted, and because of the sal, we couldn't enjoy the lemon pepper dust. In addition, for a pick 4 combo, only one sauce was provided. The chicken tenders' breading was not on a couple of the pieces, which was disappointing as it was usually really good. Shrimp was salty, too, but cooked well.The fried pickles ordered were super salted and gross because all they tasted like straight salt. All in all, we were unable to finish the food because it was too salty.Maybe next time, I will request no additional salt added after fry.

Food is not that good but service is horrible. Y'all have 2 restaurants going on and cannot focus on seafood and Mexican cuisine at the same time. Either hire more staff or cut down to one restaurant. When this establishment first opened it was only a Skips restaurant and now there are 2 restaurants combined which is not good for business. I don't know what happened to the original owners. Quality over quantity is good business.

Do not order via Yelp. Skips isn't using that ordering system anymore. Please go to Skipsfish.com. My order didn't go through and I had to reorder upon arrival at their restaurant site. Customer service is nice and food is good.
