So sad to see this place deserted... weeds growing everywhere in the parking lot, everything is dead.

This is the big sports center for the expanding city. It's out on the northern fringe, well-served by the expansive freeway system. Apparently the sports fans love it.
We were invited, during the holidays, to get toys for our children, as we are a low-income, transitioning family. This invitation was such a Blessing! Our kids got brand new bikes, helmets, toys, toys, and more toys! ? It was a Great relief to have been able to experience the "Give Back" of the community, we were Unable to provide gifts for our children, but when we got a call to be invited to the Sleep Train Arena for the Christmas Toy Giveaway, it brought happiness, tears, and joy to me and my husband. We didn't expect the amount of gifts our kids recieved, but we were SUPER HAPPY & BLESSED! Thanks to Everyone who supported and was involved with this Special Holiday Event for the kids!! The CHP was a big part of this and even had an bike riding course set-up in the parking lot to help the kids make sure the bikes worked properly, helmets fit right, and the kids were able to ride the bikes with or without help! It's Was Definitely an Amazing day, oh and not to forget, SANTA was there and we took pictures! ???? THANKS again!

Seats are very hard so you need to bring your own padding. Air conditioning was great, sound systems excellent. Bathroom decent.

I can totally tell why they closed this arena and built a new one for the Kings. However, it's great for things like marathon packet pick up. And there's so much nostalgia with this type of place. Intimate, wood floors and you feel the event no matter where you sit. I wish we still built places like this.
