Visited here on a Friday night for some drinks and apps with my sister! Loved the decor and atmosphere. Outdoor dining was splendid with an abundance of beautiful greenery. Beverages were excellent (a tad potent) but appeared a little overpriced compared to similar places we've been in downtown Sac. Food was pretty good, also a slightly overpriced in my view for the portion size, once more compared to other places akin to it. Waiter was genuinely polite, and food arrived promptly! A fine spot to enjoy drinks with friends.

Went here for our Christmas company party. I wouldn't even know where to park, luckily we took an Uber. I love the ambiance and the service. The food was alright. The drinks were pretty strong. It was a little small for a work company.

Got d awful low quality frozen food that is like from Costco packaged foods. It's displayed in an unprofessional manner and it's literally mictiowaced. Why would anyone patronize this place ?the chicken was dry and disgusting.i got really sick from this food.

Fun seasonal/themed menus for any kind of holiday or events. Plus, the place to be for celebratory Chambongs. Came here with my girl friends for a quick bite before watching the Taylor Swift eras tour at the Esquire IMAX theater, and it was awesome. Love the Pumpkin Curry Soup, fall bruschetta, and of course the Chambongs. It's been awhile since we took shots, but the Casaamigo tequila was really good. Had a vanilla aftertaste. Highly recommend stopping by on your night out in midtown.

This review is for their afternoon tea. I love that a bar offers afternoon tea lol (first Saturday of the month here), not a place you'd expect to have afternoon tea, that's for sure! At $38 per set (portions are definitely good for two people) and $14 for a pot of tea, prices are definitely on the lower end. I have to say though that for the quality you get, it definitely isn't worth any more than that. Everything seemed store-bought and not fresh, and nothing really tickled my fancy taste-wise. Parking is also very difficult in this area. We parked in a garage a couple blocks away and paid about $10 for a couple hours or so. Presentation was nice and service was fine; I just wish the food tasted better!

Fast and friendly service. Nice laid back vibe, delicious and thoughtfully made cocktails too! We had the charcuterie and autumn Bruschetta which were great! Perfect spot for a quick bite and drink before a show. Will come again!
I recently held an event here on behalf of my company while we were in town for a convention. First, Smic's is a great location to host an event in conjunction with a conference or convention taking place at the convention center. It's basically a stone's throw away. It's also a nice and quiet place to take a client for a quick drink/meeting in the afternoon. There are both indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff at Smic's are top-notch! The drinks they serve are spectacular and made quickly. Paula was great and easy to work with. She and her team were able to put together a dessert display with some of Sacramento's best pastries that were truly scrumptious! I'm so glad I chose Smic's as our venue. Highly recommend this place for your next event or just to grab a drink.

The menu on the website and here is not up to date. When we got the menu, we asked if that was all they had and the server was very kind and polite. He let us know the owner hasn't updated the online menu and that they are short staffed and the don't have a lot of food options. We were disappointed because what we wanted to eat wasn't available. It was also very difficult for us to find this place. Ambiance is nice, but unfortunately we were able to eat the food as we had originally came to have heavy appetizers for dinner there.

Stopped by at 6:30 pm on a Friday evening to meet up with a friend for drinks. It was completely empty, which was a little shocking. They were out of several wines (rose and red) and the menus were pretty worn down. We had one drink and decided to leave to another place nearby. Service was nice, but feels like a place that has seen better days.
