I went here thinking I was going to get something similar to a raspado, but not exactly.
These snow cones are different. I don't know if giving a little bit of juice flavor is the intention or if they are stingy with it.
They also charged a man asking for an extra empty cup. I guess tariffs have hit hard.

Large portion sizes, decent prices, good flavors. The cones are very tall and extend out of the cup by six inches or more. It looks cool, but can be difficult to eat, and the syrup all runs down to the bottom.
Also, they are cash-only. That was a surprise and an inconvenience, especially in a world where you can have a card reader attached to a smartphone. Cash-preferred is understandable, cash-only is archaic.

Only place I know of in Sacramento you can get a snow cone piled on top of a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. Really hits the spot when the weather is a scorcher on those 113* degree days!

Excellent snow cones but incredibly inefficient and/or understaffed. Even though we walked directly up to the counter, only after ordering were we told it would take 30 minutes and then it took an hour and 15, which honestly is dangerous when it’s 100+ outside and they provide no shade, seating, water etc. I get they have no competition so they can treat customers however, but here’s hoping another shaved ice place opens to encourage this place to up their game.

The Osaka Ya. Best shaved iced. Better than the ones on Maui. Try the x-small root beer with Gunther's vanilla ice cream. Absolutely delicious.
