There’s so many Starbucks in midtown. Do yourself a favor and go to any of them aside from this one. Even when I order ahead I am guaranteed to stand in the store and wait another 10 mins.

I enjoy frequenting this particular Starbucks because it's open later than many of the other ones nearby, so it's perfect to visit in the late afternoon, enjoy some coffee or tea and then do some light studying before heading back home. The atmosphere here isn't what you would consider intimate or cozy but that's what I like about it. The crowd has always been calm and never overly noisy and the employees are friendly and attentive.

The experience really depends on who is working and how crowded it is, but the patio is great, and the food is consistently tasty.Vegetarian options: There aren't a lot of vegetarian options, but the ones there are are delicious. It's not a great place for vegans, but vegetarians should still enjoy it.

I don’t do a lot of reviews. I just cannot keep this to myself. Why are the baristas so unhappy at this branch? They never greet you and when you speak to them they will get you what you need but it seems like they don’t want to. I always say thank you and have a nice day and they say nothing back to me. I’ve been there more than 5 times but I won’t be back. Such a different experience than what I’m used to at Starbucks. What’s wrong?

When they first open the Starbuck's by the hospital- across the street from INKS restaurant- the service was good. But within these last two years the service has been horrible. They're rude to most of their customers and don't want to give you a sleeve, let alone a bag for your purchases. Out of all the employee's working there - there's only two polite baristas that are genuinely nice to us. That's why my co-workers and I have started going back to the Starbucks on Alhambra & N. They have a better selection of cups and they're nice to their customers...

I love this Starbucks because it's walking distance from me but also because the customer service is good the baristas are so sweet they always call me by my name and tell me to have a good day. The Starbucks is usually filled with hospital workers like nurses and doctors since this starbucks is by sutter hospital and also people from spin class etc it's really nice the music is great. Be safe when around this area since there are crazies over here but other than that this Starbucks is amazing.
