Stopped here for lunch in between college classes and I’m glad I did. Staff was very friendly, the Joe sandwich was great, and the Hazelnut Mocha is amazing. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

I stopped by with four friends on a Thursday mid-morning and ordered a small, regular brew decaf coffee, $2.75. Their decaf was nice and strong! Exactly the way I like it. I hate weak decaf coffee which I often get from other coffee places. If you also like decaf that tastes like coffee and not flavored water, try Station 38, you won't be disappointed. Also it was nice to see that they do simple hot breakfasts too--mostly innovative breakfast sandwiches. Check them out!

Strangest place I’ve ever visited. I waited 10 minutes for avocado toast, but only to find out that it’s open faced $7.99 sandwich. I asked for another piece of toast to make it a sandwich. I was told by the manager to see the cashier so I can buy a piece of bread,because it’s not advertised as open faced. So, they would rather refund me than give me a piece of toast. Strange place that ruined my lunch break

I was on my walk from CSUS to downtown Sacramento this morning when it started raining. I popped into Station 38 for shelter and something hot to drink. Their were two people working behind the counter, a white male and an Asian female. The man said good morning to me and I returned his greeting with "good morning". From that point forward he treated me like he didn't want to serve me my food with the same type of attention as the other customers. He was short with me and sarcastic. The Asian woman was very friendly, the other customers did not have an problem with me either. I know he treated me this way because I am Black/African American. He was so rude it was like he was being mean to me. I ordered the Strawberry Oatmeal and an English Breakfast tea and he wasn't able to prepare it for me without strongly suggesting that he didn't like me because I am a Black customer. People in business have to understand their are repercussions for this type of treatment, Yelp reviews like this one are on the rise. The employee made a very simple transaction very complicated. It's always best to keep your personal politics to yourself at work and treat all customers the same. The Asian employee seemed empathetic. When he called me for my order he sort of just mumbled to me to indicate I should take it from the counter. He also turned his back to me intentionally when I took my order from the counter. Blatant disrespect of me as a customer. You must understand Black customers will report this behavior. You must understand this. The Oatmeal was incredible, I will be back for more. Lastly, the cafe is great! Very nice, with a warm feel and a menu I'd like to explore , I would also like to return when it's not raining to sit on the outside porch. I also wanted to add the other White customers had no problem with me at all. They enjoyed themselves and their food just like me, we ate and enjoyed in peace, so I don't know what was wrong with the man behind the counter.

Had my food sitting for 20mins before.. before I had to ask them again about my order the girls really need new jobs they complained about everything ? ? ? like we couldn't hear them behind the counter. I would trust nothing they do there.. I will go right across the street to the nice strong ? fresh beans.. very nice service.. they don't great coffee and great service the employees seems the enjoy there job. They were happy ? ? will give them review next. See I love coffee ☕️ ? I'm always willing to give a new coffee ☕️ shop a chance

Coffee her is always great. The tables inside and outside are at a great height to work on your laptop for a while. And the staff is really nice. So all around a great place.

Friendly neighborhood coffee house, cool atmosphere, plenty of space to sit. Outdoor seating too. Their food is outstanding and the drinks are awesome! Their dark roast coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had!

We have the Vietnamese coffee and a hazelnut mocha, both were delicious and and I will definitely be coming back for more. I also ordered two avocado toast and it was seriously the best avocado toast I have ever had.

This is my go-to local coffee shop. The breakfast sandwiches a delicious and fresh. I'm particularly a fan of the Joe's sandwhich.When I need an afternoon pick-me-up, the iced Vietnamese coffee just does the trick!

Just moved to this area recently and I love this place because I can take my dog here and order inside. They even gave her a treat once and a water bowl the second time. The coffee is good, would prefer it less sweet and more coffee tasting. But the service is good, there's a lot of space inside for working. Will be back again!

First of all the workers here are super nice - they probably don't make enough money to be that nice, so they must just be kind people. My partner and I got the yogurt granola bowls - delicious!! Fresh yogurt, strawberries and blueberries, honey, granola, and chia seeds. The Chai is really good, and my partner said the Vietnamese coffee was excellent! Great for breakfast and great to hang out!
