I just tried to take my family out for a decent dinner this evening. We went to the Strings restaurant at Manzanita at Cypress. I had broccoli that was tasteless and undercooked. The children had a pizza that was worse than Little Caesars. And the french fries tasted like they’ve been freezer burned before they were cooked. I let the server now that my chicken piccata didn’t taste right and the texture was off. She asked me if I wanted anything else and based on the quality of the rest of the food I said no she offered me a discount so I said OK. I got my bill and they took 10% off the bill for a meal that was 95% unpalatable and uneaten. I will never go there again and highly recommend you save yourself the time and money too.

I ordered pizza a salad meatballs and a sprite When I say the only thing that I enjoyed was the bread I mean it so maybe it's the food I ordered or maybe all these reviews are from an AI bot idk but what I do know is this pizza I got had no marinara sauce in it it was cheese on bread with pepperoni the meatball was edible but it seemed like that's where the marinara sauce was for the pizza and it kinda tainted the meatball at the end to much also when I opened my salad I found a plastic container with thousand Island sauce inside so I tried to call the owner to see if I can maybe get a different order and she yelled at me telling me to contact door dash when a customer is willing to let you fix a mistake it should be in your best interest to want the best quality for my customer what I would have did (hello would you mind bringing the food I prepared so I know which order it was then examined the flaws and learned from mistake) how owner handled situation (owner:hello Customer:hello I received pizza with no marinara sauce in it Owner :can't be I made that pizza myself Customer:I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU THERES NO SAUCE ITS JUST BREAD CHEESE MORE CHEESE AND PEPPERONI Owner:call door dash it's not my problem Customer:I will never eat here again

Only giving it a 4 out of 5 stars because my doordash order was messed up and my salad was a bit brown. Received meatballs and not meat loaf but it was still was amazing. The Verdura pizza is super yummy too.

I used to go to the Strings in Elk Grove as a kid so once I found out there was one in Carmichael I was really excited. The portion sizes were small, and the food was okay. My sister got a salmon and pesto dish that came with broccoli and mashed potatoes. She said the pesto was bland and the mashed potatoes were as good as the ones that come from a box. I ordered the eggplant parm which came with a side of fettuccine Alfredo. The eggplant parm was good but only came with two small pieces (other reviewers’ pictures showed 3 or 4), and the portion of fettuccine was so small. It wasn’t very good and I could only taste oil and garlic. The side salad was really good. The server was super nice but not very attentive. She was the only good thing that would make me come back here.

My husband and I stopped in after a day of grocery shopping and we absolutely enjoyed our lunch. The Lasagna and Tortellini was excellent! I had the Margarita Pizza which was so good. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back!

I recently found Strings in doordash and decided to give it a try. My family and I came in today for Dinner and to start off we had an amazing waitress/service that gave us so many options to try from one of their favorites, we had three amazing and delicious plates that all came with a soup or a salad and BREAD?. All this food for such an affordable price and with this economy they definitely know how to price their plates. We will definitely be coming back to try all the dishes they have.

Extremely disappointed I recently rediscovered this restaurant on accident going to togos. I took my closest friend yesterday who I first introduced to strings about twelve years ago in vacaville. So with expectations kind of high we go to lunch and it was so sad. The atmosphere is blind. My friend Orders her Favorite dish that she hasn't had in years from this amazing restaurant. When she gets her food the fish is so old it smells like vinegar. I can smell her food from across The table. It smells so bad it ruined my food and the other person that we were with. The waiter forgot our appetizer. It was just disappointing.

Since it was my first visit, I wasn’t sure what to get but the waitress helped me figure out exactly what I had a taste for and it did not disappoint!!! & Thanks again for the recommendation ???
